How to deal with Power Outage for SmartHome Part 3

1. Put battery in battery box
2. Connect black cable from inverter to battery
3. Connect red cable from inverter to battery (may spark slightly when cable is connected)
4. Connect black cable from PL2310 to black terminal on battery
5. Connect red cable from PL2310 to red terminal on battery
6. Plug in power cable on PL2310 to AC power (mains)
7. Set battery type on PL2310 to match the battery you are using
8. Set charge rate to either 6A or 10A to get battery charged prior to using it for the first time

Level 2 Better for handling of outages of 15 minutes or more
PC on Mains, Inverter for an outage lasting more than a few minutes, manual move of UPS Power to Inverter
