in regards to cleaning the office environment. thats something thats really become standard in the west as well. the last 3 jobs ive had have all required me to do cleaning work 2 or 3 days out of the month. and we rotate that responsibility to everyone in the office. it absolutely does give you a heightened sense of pride and community in the workplace so i can see where the japanese are coming from.

Everyone works really hard, but if everyone is doing their part it might not seem so bad. Versus the US is really demoralizing working hard and everyone else being lazy.

I can understand that she is doing a desk job and mechanics are working hard out there so they passed the cleaning and getting food to the Erina, but at least mechanics can clean up after themselves!

Yes that's normal here in Denmark to. A office worker like that is fore the costmer as do also work like sallery and work for workers in the company. Yes she would not be serving food for the workers. 😂 that they have to do themselves. But all administration things for the company yes. Normal Here too.

So interesting how asian culture emphasises on community while western culture emphasises on individualism . I think if humans dont take advantage if this , it is actually very beneficial to work hand in hand .

There are possibly next to zero American repair shops that open up at 9AM. This is the biggest thing that blows my mind.
