ОтветитьLegendary Joe Lynn Turner
ОтветитьI miss Ronnie James Dio
ОтветитьWhat a great song
ОтветитьI had the cassette in my luggage when I went for a vacation in Philippines in 1985 which turned into a 5 years overstay. This song always reminded me of my time there. Only way I could hear is by playing it in cassette since it was not played in the local radio station there. As the song plays it takes me back to that place of 1980s Manila Philippines where I stay for 5 years, that was my street of dreams.
ОтветитьBlackmore is a genius - been a fan since Machine Head and he stepped onto the stage in Birmingham Alabama when I was 15. And Joe Lynn Turner was probably my favorite Rainbow singer.
ОтветитьDamn. Going down memory lane
ОтветитьI so agree. What an awesome voice and GREAT song.☮️
Ответить80s will always rule!! I want my MTV 😵😵😵😵😵😵
ОтветитьWe all have a right to remember. We can't see through what is really in front of us, so why not be?

Ответитьit is for my grandmother who listened to this masterpiece. I love you, and i c u again
ОтветитьGreat, very tail end of the stoner age/beginning of hesher age, hard/power rock and metal. This band is virtually forgotten. Even though it had the great Ritchie Blackmore, the great guitarist for Deep Purple who came out the year I was born, layin down the licks. Don't forget Rainbow had three, count them three, iconic lead singers of rock music. The great Ronnie James Dio, Graham Bonnet, and Joe Lynn Turner. Joe had a wonderful, soulful voice. Bet it's hard for you millennials and zoomers to believe this came out in the 80's, until you realize this is the early 80's. This 70's band had the ability to translate into the 80's, because they were great! By the mid 80's it was obvious that millions of people in the English speaking world still wanted to listen to this kind of music. Why do you think Boston went straight to number one in 1986 of all times? I hate Boston, and Styx, and Kansas, and Reo Fagwagon. Still I love a lot of hard rock, a music that is essentially 70's. By the mid 80's it was obvious that 70's hard rock, with it's timeless groove, and 80's power rock, with it's fast 80's sensibilities, had to merge. That's how we got Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Lover Boy, Lords of the New Church, Billy Idol, Hanoi Rocks, The Cult, Guns & Roses, Metallica, Danzig, L.A Guns, Tesla, Living Colour, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Fishbone, Faith no more, Love and Rockets, TSOL, and Soundgarden. All 80's bands. By '86, folks were sick of the fake conservative three chord wonders. We wanted to rock out again! To those of you who didn't experience the 1980's, I pity you. Last decade of the twentieth century that great music was made. Rock on! You zoomers need to listen to this kind of music. Begin with real rock and roll from the 1950's, and learn to swing dance. Take it from there kinda slow. Any thing to give you a break from the degenerate hip hop, and faggy house music of today. Give it a try. By the way, hip hop rock came out in the 80's. RUN DMC.
Ответить4thQ 2023, Almost 2024 and it's still a Mis - te - ry.
ОтветитьWhat's not to love about this romantic and mysterious rock ballad??!! Turner sings at least as good as Bonnett!
ОтветитьThe music video itself actually stood the test of time. A lot of times I go back and look at old videos and they now seem so goofy. This one is still cool and of course the music is amazing.
ОтветитьHaven’t seen this video in decades, so thanks for posting! But I recall the hypnotist says something like, “so, tell me about your dreams” at the beginning - why was that cut off?
ОтветитьI fucking hate being old. The 80's are my life blood.
ОтветитьClassic ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьOtro nivel.....
ОтветитьGreat !
ОтветитьБожественно!!!
ОтветитьName of the girl in the video?
ОтветитьA wonderful song made even better by the stunningly beautiful Lysette Anthony.
ОтветитьGreat song right here I just heard it on my radio in Shreveport Louisiana the DJ said the song was 40 years old damn time sure flies but I'm glad they played it almost forgot about it
ОтветитьSaw Joe Lynn Turner with Yngwie in 1989 and he was a great fit.
I love that Yngwie has had multiple famous singers.
It's always a unique sound for each album. Heaven Tonight was a hit because of JLT
Love this song
ОтветитьPerfeito
ОтветитьI love that spongy arpeggiated synth riff in the chorus !
ОтветитьAnother classic. No comparison with contemporary music!
ОтветитьJoe is still out singing.... This was one of the BEST!!!!
ОтветитьReleased: 1983
ОтветитьHe sounds like lou gramm.a copycat perhaps?
ОтветитьSounds like a soundtrack from some 80’s Stallone’s movie, Turner is a great singer, he’s got a nostalgic voice typical for 80’s sound
ОтветитьHe picked the correct psychiatrists office! What are the odds!?!?😱
ОтветитьWow that's when the world was the world
Ответитьsiento el calor de toda tu piel en mi cuerpo otra vez...
ah, no para!!!
My friend Joe from Hackensack.
