New Balance SC Trainer v3 | First Thoughts

SC Elite is the lighter version of this shoe.

Sounds like the SC Trainer line’s still wandering in the darkness a bit TBH. Neither the v2 or v3 seem to have kept the magic that made v1 special.

If the V3 isn’t similar to the V1 or the V2, what other shoe would you say it’s most like? I loved the V1 but disliked the V2.

Take Robby out of this video and put Meg in. Dude has been off his game for a while now and he just killed any chance of good vibes on this shoe or video.

How does this compare to the Neo Vista? Just got the Neo Vista, and it is a great easy run shoe with some nice pop.

Robbe may be a good writer but he is awful on camera. This channel would be so much better if Thomas and Meg were the only presenters.

Robbie deserves to run in Nike Cortez or an Adidas gazelle. Robbies long run shoe is like a Nike dart iv.

New Balance SC trainer V2 is terrible for me. Clunky and mushy.

When an American says "pretty good" is Europe it means run for cover.. Terrible experience.

I’m a heavier runner, and for me, the SC Trainer v2 is an amazing long run / easy run shoe. I like softer shoes, but shoes like the ASICS Nimbus 26, are too soft and a little too heavy for me. I get hotspots with the Nimbus. The SC Trainer v2 is even softer, but somehow has better energy return for me. It also feels lighter on foot. The rocker geometry is perfect for my stride too. I really like the v2. I will buy the v3 and am hoping for more of the same.

The Puma deviate Nitro 3 and the SC trainer 3 are going to be my next two carbon plate shoe purchases!! I love my SC trainer 2's!! Gives you great propulsion forward!!

I love NB, especially the SC line, and look forward to hear what Megan has to say about this one. Glad they have reduced the weight. We'll see how it feels underfoot.

Vandenberg Air Force Base is not far from SLO 9 (it’s also a Space X base) so that may be where some of those planes are coming from if they were really fast. Shoe question: Is the NB Balos the same fit lengthwise as the Rebel4? There’s no running store near where we live to try it on; but I sized up .5 on the Rebel 4 and need to know if I should do the same on the Balos.

I'm going to get the Superblast 2 and I would like a shoe for speed training, what would you recommend Trainer v3 or Rebel v4? I'm afraid the Rebel won't last and the Trainer v3 will be too similar to the Superblast 2. Can you guys help me?

How does the heal counter compare to the Rebel v4? Found the heal counter to have no structure but liked the shoes otherwise.
