Can it be used directly with Home Assistant without installing the mobile app and creating a cloud account?
Thank you in advance.

Can you use keypad/fingerprint scanner to trigger anything to ha?

You missed to test one thing: It is possible to lock the door even when the door is wide open! That is only a missed software feature, all hardware needed already exists. As it is now you can unlock for someone remotely and then lock again but with the door open! Or checking that all doors are locked from bed but missing that one door is left open. Otherwise, I like the lock and would by more if they could fix this bug.

My danalock motor just burned up.
Got this instead with keypad. Works great but yeah. Would rather screw it to the door

Hello, thanks for your video, I cannot login in with my switchbot ID, but APP on the phone can use this ID properly, do you have any idea about this problem?

With the new BT proxy I thought some one would have got the wyze lock integrated directly to HA by now.

Someone much smarter than I needs to figure out how to connect the Wyze Bolt to the BT proxy. But Wyze doesn't seem to like interoperability.

That's pretty damn neat! Will have to look into Bluetooth proxy.

There are holes behind the stickers that aligns perfectly with my lock, so mine is screwed in place without stickers or new holes. Love my local switchbot lock with bt proxies.

I got the small keypad (without fingerprint sensor - for security). Works great. Bought two. Zero issues.

It was faster the second time because it re-uses the connection.. the connection setup is the one that takes some time... I was checking my debug logs when locking/unlocking from the lock and from HA.. not a big deal! ;)

CR123a batteries are very common. They used to be used for camera flashes, and they are very common on home security sensors.
With ANY battery device. Buy NAME BRAND batteries.
China no-name batteries last less than 1/10th the time of an Energizer in my home motion sensors. china batt ~1 month. energizer batt ~18 months

How many Bluetooth devices can be connected directly to Home Assistant through a Bluetooth dongle? I have not been able to find a good answer on this

You should have added to set your bluetooth device on HA to Active Scanning (uncheck Passive scanning in configure).

Metal plate under the inside piece of a dumb lock would be another way not to damage the paint w/ that sticky square.
