How To Transfer All Data From Old iPhone to New iPhone 15

What should I do if I already set up the phone but I didn't transfer anything? I am using an esim so I can't erase it. This is the worst experience I have with an Iphone. After 2 hours it didn't transfer anything, didn't update the software.

Thanks, I used the Apple video about this, and it did not show how it looks today. This is closer to what I saw when recently moving to an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Some notes:

- When doing the Sofware Update it can take a very very long time. And after an hour or so, my phone screen went black. I had no idea if it was still updating but just a black screen, but after half an hour more, I restarted the phone. And it seemed it had turned itself off, all looked fine.

- If you have a physical SIM slot in both phones, don't move the SIM to the new phone until you have transfered it all. In the middle of the setup, it noticed I have two iCloud accounts and sent me a code using messages to verify my identity. But as my new phone did not have everything setup and no SIM in the old phone, I did not get the message. No idea why it was not sent as iMessage, but I did not get any code until I put back the SIM into the old phone.

Hey, I’m trying to transfer my data from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 15 & it’s not really working. Been sitting here for hours. When my iPhone 11 tries to connect to the iPhone 15 after some seconds there’s an “Error: 2002” so I further then choose to transfer my data from my iCloud meaning my iPhone 15 shows “Restore from iCloud” & a loading bar with “Time remaining” underneath. Then again after like 15 to 20 minutes it says that it “cannot restore backup”. Getting kinda frustrated, can anyone explain or help???

So far the phone to phone transfer has not worked over an hour in and still just seeing the spinning wheel of death on both phones ?

I picked up the blue 15 and thought the camera side would be blue, but it's pale, blue-white? Going to take some getting used to after 8. Thank you again.

Ok, I have an older iPhone X that won’t let me update to iOS 17. How to proceed with transferring data to my new iPhone 15 pro max please? Can I just do it using iOS 16.2 which is what I have, then update my new phone to iOS 17? Or should I just go to the Apple Store? ☺️ Thank you all!
