What is the difference between ANC and Noise Cancelling?!

Any idea or recommendation If I am looking for a headphone or earphone that can block the noise around me so people I am talking to can’t hear the noise ? As I am often in meeting.
Seems like there is function call ENC but not many product I can found. Is ANC earphone I am looking for ?
Or if you have any specific brand or model will be highly appreciate.

I'm autistic and want a noise cancelling pair with a conversation mode, where i can hear some noises around me in the real world but its somewhat muted. If this makes sense. 😅

Feel like it's worth it to throw my hat in here. I'm looking for earbuds that allow me to;
1. Clearly hear my music or whatever it is I'm trying to listen to at the time.
2. If I'm talking to friends with my earbud, avoid having them hear what I'm doing in the background and just hear me.
3. Avoid people around me being able to hear the music in my earbud or the people I'm talking to.

What kind of earbud would I be looking for to accomplish that? I work in a grocery store where I help customers so if there's any kind of balance out there that could be struck, I'd love help to figure it out.

What headphone would you recommend for working in a warehouse environment. One that will block the machinery noise, but I will still be able to pick up voices if someone is trying to get my attention? Much appreciated.

Well in Razer pro you can set low or high nc for the mic, but it can also be switched off completely if needed.

Please recommend a nice headset which can block surrounding voice, which can help me to attend the meetings on the go and use any point of time at noisy place even at home/office/cafe.

What I can't seem to find the answer to is, other than blocking the outside sounds from you, do people around you hear your music? (let's say you're on set and we really cannot hear anything, are noise cancelling earbuds efficient for that too?)

ANC is a noise canceling that works with mic to invert frequency to block external noise, while in the other way noise canceling only is related to physical isolation at earphones
