Hey, I currently use the Sony WH-100XM4 and I am thinking of either buying the Sony WH-100XM5 or the AirPod Max. I only use my headphones wired to my PC and never Bluetooth (I have the Samsung Buds 2 Pro for outside use). I like the WH-100XM5 but when I wore the AirPod Max at the Apple store, I loved the weight and design. I have fairly big ears and a massive head lol. The WH-100XM4 are a little tight from the top of my head when fully extended and get very hot (but I love them). What would you recommend that I get? I heard that the sound quality on the Airpod Max is better. Noise Cancelling isn't an issue for me. Just need something that sounds good and will last me a few years. The sleek design of the AirPod Max is great and the ear cups are the perfect size. Do you have any problem when connected to the PC with the AirPod Max? Also, Mic isn't an issue either, I have a gaming mic as my main way to talk and communicate. I have a Windows Pc and Samsung 23 ultra so I'm in the Android eco-system. Any info will be much appreciated.

You said the exact same things as the non-music producers that reviewed the AirPods Max. Therefore the job title and the misleading thumbnail are useless. Your opinions dodn't matter more just because you're an "expert" or "award winning bla bla bla".

I always have a headache when ever used this plus my ears ache too because of the pressure clamping or its about the padding

I'm a big fan of those headphones; the construction is incredibly solid! The audio quality is also fantastic in my opinion. While there are high-end audiophile headphones out there, I don't think it's a fair comparison given the significant price difference. The AirPods Max are geared towards everyday consumers, not professionals willing to spend thousands of dollars on headphones. But I do hope that Apple releases some professional high-tier headphones one day, for the audiophiles out here.

The comment about the Air Pods Max don't work if they are worn reversed, did work on my set. It plays both ways.

You didn’t mention spatial audio. When watching a movie with Dolby Atmos via an Apple TV, my iPad, iPhone, or Mac, I can hear the sounds move around, not only from left to right, but front to back, top to bottom, and all around. THAT’S what sold me! 😉

I have a question. I dont have any other apple devices, and am going to be using them on an Android phone. I however, really really want them. I think they are just so cute, and I've heard that the sound quality is atleast decent. I've also heard that they are very comfortable, and I have a bigger head so I've heard they have adjustments to where I can wear them comfortably. My only problems that I can think of with these is the high price, and that they are apparently not water or sweat proof. I am solely going to be using them at school, and at home on my phone which is an Android. Are they worth it for me or do you believe so? (This is directed towards the creator but can also anyone scrolling through the comments can give me their opinion as well. I will most definitely take both into consideration).

It’s seams that you only listened to them through Bluetooth. I would really be interested in your evaluation with them plugged in to an audio source ( Lightning port). The pertinent question is how do they compare to other bluetooth noise cancelling headphones. Wired open back headphones for the same price are likely to beat them on sound quality alone.

Great review! I was able to pick some up today myself for $330 pretty much, brand new in box. Which compared to the $549.99 Apple retail price I think is a good deal. Haven't opened them just yet, going too soon, but looking forward to trying them out. Got senior year of college coming up 2023-2024 and wanted a pair of headphones, so I figured they'd work great since I own an iPhone and MacBook Pro.
