You dont realize how much this helped me this is due to the fact of how, I, for fun put all of the setting to black for the contrast themes and didn't know that when you save it, it also applies it so I searched for a vid of how to fix it without being able to see anything and found you and it helped me turn my computer back from a brick to a working computer. So thank you soo much for making this. Have a like and a sub.
ОтветитьIt's stupid AF you cant change all the colors of regular custom Windows theme only High Contrast that way I can change all my background colors to black and text to green for example.
ОтветитьRedmond needs a Grey theme not just Black
Ответитьbig help...thank you
ОтветитьI'm quite disappointed with Windows 11. No contrast settings, my screen is too bright for me and the only option for me is to use an Accessibility theme... and they're ALL missing radio buttons. The sites I need them for rely heavily on radio buttons so I can't work with them. So frustrating.
Ответитьhow to aplly those fonts helsinki
ОтветитьAnyway to get my "envelope" on my Task bar to not be blue on top of the Outlook Icon? That's new for me in Windows 11. Now I can't tell a new email is there.
ОтветитьHow do you make the contrast themes not effect background Power Point Presentations? Love the contrast themes but I cannot make that work for me as it effects backgrounds everywhere.
ОтветитьI'm legally blind, and ever since Windows 10, we've lost the nice, thick borders around windows. This makes it bloody hard for me to distinguish between foreground applets, and background ones. I want the thick borders returned to us. Moreover, I want to be able to set the border thickness. I really miss the way opened windows looked in XP, and 7, to be honest, and I would like to see that restored. For the moment, though, at least there's the contrast option you showed, which has a little bit thicker border, but it's really not enough for me. I did find the option that lets me take the mouse to the next level, and made it big enough to see, and find, without having to use Magnifier, in some cases, as well as change it's colour. Now, if we only had a mouse editor, that would let us make the mouse look like a vintage Amiga pointer, for instance. God! I miss the Amiga! Was so much easier to see. Thanks for sharing these tips.
ОтветитьSo I was excited about these - but they dont work for me at all. I am just using dark mode. :( I don't understand why there isnt a yellowish option. It is so common for partially sighted to have green/Yellow/brownish color options.?
ОтветитьDoes notepad STILL not have dark mode?? Yuck. I use a windows app called Black Notepad
ОтветитьReally great tutorial, so helpful to refer to. I had kind of blindly tweaked a bunch of settings that caused a weird glitch on you ttube. I wound up having a Microsoft tech from Be My Eyes remote login to my system and fixed everything for me.
ОтветитьG'day Sam
Thanks for a details video. I have been trying to work out the new Windows 11 changes.
Hi! Jus commenting for better channel stats, thx Sam!
ОтветитьAlso, do you have any advice on how to watch TV?

This is awesome and will make it so much easier to know where apps areand automatically change the background of documents.
ОтветитьI can’t wait until you do a detailed video of the narrator. I have a PC, but I don’t know if it’s running Windows 11 or not. I currently use an iPad with Voice Over and a Bluetooth keyboard.
ОтветитьThemes have come a long way! I wish I could get Windows 11 to stop changing my mouse pointer back to the default every time UAC opens or when I Ctrl-Alt-Del
Ответитьis high contrast theme shortcut is the same as in Win10 "Shift + Alt + Print Screen"? This probably will be useful for all here. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьAnother very useful video. Thanks Sam for all that you do. I especially am glad to see that the windows can be outlined now. That has always frustrated me.
ОтветитьGreat video Sam! Tons of good information and demos. I’m going to test the high contrast theme and see if that top bar doesn’t work as well and ask the Windows team if that’s a bug or by design.
ОтветитьThanks Sam for your second detailed video on Windows 11 settings. I've been using Windows 11 for about 3 months, but I have learned about several useful features on the software from your two videos.
ОтветитьGood stuff Sam. I am going to have to upgrade to Windows 11. It is awesome that you are a part of the team working on these accessibility tools. We (the VIP's) need an inside man.
ОтветитьThis video useful for me
ОтветитьAwesome 😎😎😎
