Easy 3D Character Modeling in Maya - Part 3 - Head

Would this apply as well if I am just making 3d miniatures for printing? Or is it more forgiving?

This is the best character box modeling tutorial I've seen. No need to speed up the actual work, I think everyone would like to see exactly which vertex/edge you are editing in real time. Thanks for posting.
