Clever place to hide. A lot if mammals will have a harder time getting them in there than in a tree.
If the hot hellish state of Arizona would have some type of water ordinance these birds would possibly perish
Ответитьthey are from Africa so of course they will survive
You couldn't have mispronounced saguaro any worse 🤡
The cactus wrens got an upgrade 😂
How beautiful to look out into your garden and see a flock of lovebirds flying around instead of pigeons, starlings and sparrows!!!
I got my lovebird from California she was very friendly and I decided to keep her
Now this is amazing.
Why not get more invasive species like this? I know invasive species are dangerous because the habitat hasn't adapted to the new species, but... they're cool...
They remind me of those birds from the Boy and the Heron
Ответитьyou're not pronouncing saguaro correctly
This is cute and all, but- getting fed by people ( its ok, but if its the only source, then it is bad....)
-getting water from people AGAIN, and this time, it is not even eco-friendly! There is no way that using water for sprinklers in a god damn desert is OK. The water must be delivered, and in such climate, it can be even rare no? Another droplet of global warming, even if small, right here! :/
Cities in the Netherlands like the Hague have plenty parrots too, the Rose-ringed parakeet (Psittacula krameri).
There’s no such thing as “40° heat” in the United States. Fahrenheit, please.
The idea of SPRINKLERS IN ARIZONA, Phoenix none the less. That place isn't even fit for human habitation we shouldn't be trying to bring European style lawns to the desert. It ought to be illegal.
Mangoes
Flying watermelon
Saah waar roe. G silent. Saguaro. I fed those lovebirds too
Everything is perfect except for one. Cats
Well I have these birds as pets in Germany 😂
Very wholesome content.
Ответитьi have a roseicollis and i loved this
I just saw a couple of these in the yard today kissing and grooming each other
I would love to see these in person in Arizona some day. I adopted one from a lady who said she got it as a baby and she said it wasn’t “snuggly enough”. Well, birds aren’t really “snuggly” creatures and shouldn’t be made into one for hormonal reasons. It listen here, this little lovebird is so smart and communicative with her little chirps and body language. Usually the bigger the bird the smarter they are but this species is impressively intelligent for their size. I have various species and have worked with a lot of parrots and I still hold the Peach Face Lovebird in very high regard in terms of intelligence.
There are a bunch of these same birds in a neighborhood of honolulu called papakolea
Usually i concerned with invasive species that have a potential to harm the local environment (my definition way different than others) but these are under control, little potential to survive without outside help, and add a splash of color to a bland landscape.
Lovebirds are parrots?
I remember seeing them occasionally but I didnt realize they were invasive.
I'm the one who released the birds in 2007' when I had moved to 61st Ave and Keim Dr. I originally bought 20 different colored love birds from a breeder then gave them as a gift to my mother and grandmother where they we're loved and kept until the day came we released them, all together.
These are the nost smart parrot in the world
Having lived in Phoenix for most of my life, their little squeaks are so recognizable to me. When I would walk my dog at the park, I could always hear them in certain trees and would always have fun trying to snap pictures of them.
The best friend I ever had in my life was my lovebird, Garth.
He died twenty years ago, and I still miss him every day❤
This is why the love is growing in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ответить-life finds a way
Ответитьi have two rosey faced lovebirds and they where screaming. They thought there was more lovebirds
Excellent ❤
Thanks for increasing knowledge Arizona local feed in 25 years so many love bird
My lovebirds are very messy, they love to bathe in their water bowl and throw water everywhere, they also love to dip their food in the water and if they decide the water is too dirty of food they’ll scream like my cockatiel bc somehow they learned that when the cockatiels start screaming I come see what’s going on, so they mimic one of my cockatiel’s scream until I come change their water so they can dip their food in some clean water 😂
Ответитьfun fact the part of Africa their from live between the boarders of its desert and its rainforest so flying back and forth wasn't that much hard work
Humans 🤦♂️
I hate cats they kill the birds and worst of all nobody cares they're breeding uncontrollably and disturb the wild life here in california
No birds should be kept captive especially in a cage. If you feed them (birds) they come to your garden on their own.
