THANK GOODNESS I found this recipe. Previously I tried making a pho with recipe crafted by an Australian woman and it was disastrous. Guess you have to find a genuine vietnamese to get a good pho recipe!

1st time 5 to 10mins rolling boil,2nd time 60mins with salt onion sugar,3rd time 2 hrs add in spice. Am i right?

Wonderful. I could SMELL it at the end. I'm very particular about my pho; I enjoy it when the anise flavour is less pronounced. I could live off soup. Yum. Thanks Helen. I'm going to make it from scratch next weekend.
