You need the lens guards … the lens is so flipping easy to scratch

Does anybody know if all previous cameras attachements fit this new X4?

Does the X4 have the same recording gap after the 29 minute mark as the X3? I use the X3 primarily for recording my rides and hate that there is a gap created between the files.

Can it be cropped to look like a regular lens instead of a wide-angle lens? Also, how would it work with an external mic?

Does it work with the X3 GPS remote?

I’m interested in getting one of these to mount centrally on my handlebars and tilted towards me. Would it have a wide enough fov to see the handlebars/dash when video is facing forward and enough to see me riding when video is looking towards me, without having too much fish eye effect?

Can’t find any videos where it has been mounted in that exact position

30fps does not cut it. my s23 ultra does 8k30fps with just one back camera. we need at least 8k60fps or more.

i just got a x3.........

one minute recording over 1GB after edit it 100MB
you cant let in your computer UN edit it there you need huge hard disc
your computer never gonna edit quick with insta360 software because cant use all your prosesor capacite
30 minutes 8K recording shuting down because of heating

so not use summer...
one lens schrach camera is useless unless you send them insta360 to hongkong x4 220 dollars x3 120 dollar cost a repair
your garantie is useless for this
you know why they send them with lensguard because you need it

About a week before announcement I was researching and about to drop the money on an X3, but held off on pressing the purchase button "just in case". Glad I did now! The X4 even better fits what I want to do, even if I'm new to the 360 world :)

Would you recommend getting the motorcycle package? is it worth the extra cash?

warning ... Insta360 x4 can indeed connect to a Sena (50S), but it will not record audio when 50S is connected to other Senas, making it impossible to record audio of group rides. Big limitation confirmed by Insta360 support.

Why aren’t my images being saved to my iPhone album as 360 images after I chose export as 360? It’s just flat images doesn’t save with that 360 symbol and FB doesn’t support 360 images no more ?

I want to use the X4 for moto vlogging. Would you recommend going premium for that? Because I suppose without a lens guard, it's easy for a stone to hit the lens, right?

Also, I would like to use the DJI Mic 2 for motovlogging, but I have a question. Do I just pair the transmitter with my Insta360 X4, and that's it, or do I also need to use the DJI receiver? I mean, do I always need to carry the receiver with me in my backpack? Thanks

I have tested the DJI Mic 2 with the X4 via Bluetooth, and it’s impossible; it doesn’t work. Also, I think even using the receiver with the X4, transmitting via Bluetooth won’t work well for motovlogging. So... what’s the point? You have to use just the transmitter in your helmet alone without connecting it to the X4. I don’t understand it
