I think you failed to mention that it resets the login username and password. I can't log into my wordpress account after the reset.

In plain English, do you mean that by using this plugin, we erase our wordpress web site and we are back with a BLANK installation of wordpress?

I got locked out after doing WP reset. I spent 45 minutes in Bluehost chat, to no avail. But I finally just deleted my site in Bluehost. I "assigned" my domain, whatever that means. Then I was able to load WP again. Scorched earth.

Is it possible to completely, and cleanly, re-install WordPress this method as well? Given a major increase in malware these days, I'd like to be able to manage a complete fresh install of everything - who's to say that the default state your website is placed in once doing the above, does not include the malware?

Thank u so much it took me 2 weeks to get my site perfected and then randomly it all messed up and I tried everything to get it back I got so annoyed that I wanted to reset so I did this and I’m now back to square one but at least I can now fix what I need to

I lost the ability to log into wordpress...

I did this and now it is telling me that my email is unknown and won't let me log in.

If I want to wipe out everything but only want to recover my WooCommerce products which are like 5k, does the option of Database + Files (WordPress Files) work out? I want to maintain my products but start over everything again.

What's the fix after your login shows up populated with your credentials and won't work. Says user not on file.

This is what I was looking for, but the results were not completely the same as described in the video. I completely removed me as an admin which resulted in me contacting the host to add me back in order to be able to log into the admin dashboard.

Well, this recommended plugin also resets users & passwords. There was no way I could login again. If I scroll through all the comments, I see this has happened too so many people. This tutorial definitely didn't work for me.

So I followed the steps as you explained, after the reset it took me to the login page however I'm unable to login back to my account with this error message displayed "Unknown email address. Check again or try your username." Please could you assist on how I can fix this.

It says that this plug-in is not supported in my WordPress? But below that it also says it is compatible with my version of WordPress... I am not able to active the plug in... any other ways to reset the site?

I had a staging site using the Elementor template that needed resting as the old site and new template didn't merge well. The issue I've had after reset is that it also cleared my admin login and I couldn't log back in. It appears to have deleted the whole admin and database. It's a good thing it was a staging site and have done the backup first before rest but not can't also access this too.

Man, I can't login in to my Wordpress webasite, after reset. Also there is no data of my website in PHPadmin.

Guysss so I just did this and it logged me out with a notice saying "Unknown email address. Check again or try your username".
I went right to their 24/7 customer support chat and they showed me how to delete the website itself and restart it. That wasn't a problem since I was starting from scratch anyway. But if you get that notice just talk to their support team and they'll help u out in 2 minutes.
