as always, here's my pinned comment with revisions or extra notes:
- i've gotten quite a few DMs about the shapes being projected. I just connect the HDMI input into my computer, then open photoshop and create any sorts of shapes and colors i'd like to!
- yes, all of my studio shoots are done with one roll of film. i love the challenge of being limited to 10 shots, but for clients i shoot more than one roll lol
also the concept of pushing film is really blowing my mind, I definitely have to try this out
Ответитьthis is so sick!!
ОтветитьT'es un bon toi ! Bravo
Ответитьrespect for the generosity of just sharing your methods out like that and it´s so freaking smart
ОтветитьYour work and style are incredible, thank you for sharing
Ответитьany chance you could make a video on metering & using the light meter app???
ОтветитьThis is so well done! That Epson projector is so clutch 👌
ОтветитьYO IS THIS THE WHITE SPACE????
ОтветитьWhat software you use for make the circle?
ОтветитьI love this!
ОтветитьI have resisted “flash” photography for years…. Too many memories of bad family pics with red eye, and washed out images……. But…. You have opened my eyes to a whole new perception of artificial light photography… artistic creative uses for studio lighting, and the wonderful use of rich color on and around your subjects!! Great job!! Inspiring and freeing for me. Thanks
ОтветитьGreat video, but question to my lack of understanding. why not to expose for the shadows, at least to be sure you have enough detail for development and then adjust your highlights accordingly to 1, 2 or 3 stops above. Measuring for the highlights and underexposing can give you a negative with no information on certain areas. You wont be able to gain that information even if you push 1,2,3 stops etc when developing. I am just curious, thanks
ОтветитьCONGRATULATIONS WISH YOU THE BEST YOU ARE INCREDIBLE!!! So inspirational 🍬
Ответитьhow did the model pose so still i thought he was a mannequinn
ОтветитьWhat light do you use ?
ОтветитьThis was so dope!.. super chilled
Ответитьlol I thought this was a moodydarkroom video
ОтветитьThis is very helpful, thank you!
Ответить😍😍😍
ОтветитьA good rule of thumb for setting shutter speeds that won’t blur while hand-held is to use one over the focal length. For instance, if you’re shooting with a 50mm lens, don’t go less than 1/50th of a second. If you’re shooting a 28mm lens, don’t exceed 1/30th a second, etc. The reason being, the longer the focal length the easier it is to blur.
Ответитьloved the last one mate! a little late to the party but have to ask which epson projector you used. love the idea
ОтветитьWait! Isnt the photo more underexposed if you rate the film at a iso of 1600 instead of 800? Because the camera thinks it is more light sensitive so less light will get into the camera?
Or am i thinking the wrong way ?
Linusss!!
ОтветитьI have used projector before I really like this concept of moving objections around on you screen thanks for the inspiration!
ОтветитьHappy birthday linus! luv your channel bro, i really hope you find this message because i just wanted to say you inspire me
Ответитьno cc subtitles😢
Ответитьwow thank you so much for this !! this really helped me understand shooting in low light situations ! not as intimidating anymore lol
Ответитьthese shots were sick! thank you for sharing this
Ответитьdude you're inspiring me to pick up my camera again 🥺 i miss taking photos so much
ОтветитьThat was cool
Ответитьthe projector method is fking genius!! love your vids
ОтветитьThank you for the inspiration 🥺💖
ОтветитьBeginner Question: I heard that you're not supposed to change the ISO on the camera for the whole roll (if you're shooting Portra 200 at 200 you can't just change it to 400 mid-roll), so did you set it to 1600 for the whole roll?
ОтветитьHi. Just one question with the colored lighting. When I shoot with only red led lights, I often get overexposed(I think it's overexposed because the face details are blown out) image. I use my sekonic l 508 external meter. Does the meter read red light differently compared to other lights? Thanks!
ОтветитьHey i just wanna thank you for putting this out! I get the feeling that you might wanna keep your style private but im a beginner at film and im about to try and take some pics! So yeah thank you again ❤️
ОтветитьTHIS IS SO GOOD
ОтветитьHow were you able to move around your circle creations in photoshop in real time without the photoshop program also displaying through the projector? How were you able to isolate the circles while still able to move them? Amazing video, Thank You!!!!!
ОтветитьMy guy with the clean shots.
ОтветитьYou killed this shoot🔥
ОтветитьSuper super super super dope!
ОтветитьWhat light meter app is this 😭
Ответитьwhat light meter app did he use
ОтветитьThese are insanely good!
ОтветитьSo that 120d is a constant light AND a flash simultaneously? Also would like to hear about how you metered for the flash. Did you just mess with flash power until the meter gave you a shutter speed faster than 1/60 ?
ОтветитьJust 3 minutes in and I’m already seeing some GOLDEN tickets . Hope this channel is flooded with this
Ответитьoh wow, an earthgang fan and a film photographer! lovin it fam!
