According to an interview to Attack on Titan's mangaka/creator , Hajime Isayama; he was asked on how and why did he created AoT, and what drove him to pursue his mangaka carrier? He's response was generic but he ended it with something unexpected,
He said that ever since he was a child he was very fond of manga and anime, it was a huge chunk of his childhood that inspired him to develop his artistic abilities and storytelling to match it with, he mentioned some titles that grew up with (forgot most them, sorry guys),
then he was asked what was his favorite manga or anime if he actually has one? and he's responses was unexpected, he said that he was huge JoJo fan and stated that JoJo his inspiration for creating AoT,
And believe or not, his favorite JoJo character was no other than Abbacchio Leone from golden wind, there are photos of him on his work table where there are a lot of JoJo reference on them including the Moody Blues figurine that he treasures the most.

Ngl, I would also have been happy with basically anyone remaining from Part 5 (Secco/Ciocolatta, Zuccero/Sala, and Squallo/Tisano could be interesting takes on the Procuitto/Pesci team-up character), but not nearly as happy as the final remaining Bucchiarati squad member.
