I’m just waiting for the time to play MGS Collection on my phone with proper analog sticks instead of the shitty nubs on the Vita; I love Peacewalker, but hate the PSP version’s control schemes.

Fully agree with ya there Mr. S and I don’t feel that ur wrong at all, the hdmi out n all sounds good if that’s wat ppl have bought it for but it’s definitely not optimal for touchscreen control at all and believe they could’ve/should’ve spent more time on the fact that it’s supposed to be a “portable” device!! Having it plugged into something else like a monitor or what have you doesn’t feel very portable!! 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤷🏻‍♂️

Vita is arm based, surprised Android progress is not further. It's still pretty crappy on PC anyway, even with games listed compatible.. anything with 3D rendering always has visual bugs.

Man.... I really wish they'd bring back the slide out controller on the Xperia. Especially with the size phones are today, it would be perfect. Doesn't even need to be ground breaking in performance...

I guess for actual Android games, that setup is fine, especially for those games that don't support controllers; but for emulation is simply inappropriate (and presumably expensive).

The new Sony Xperia attachment is mostly for play on external display and using a Bluetooth controller. Included button mapping software and capture ability will make it ideal for some, just not most 🙄

For the touchscreen piece. Depends on the game. Action/shooter/adventure games this is not ideal.
But for everything else it's perfect. Puzzle/rpg/card/tactics games will thrive with this

I swear like a month and a half ago PS Vita emulation wasn't in the forseeable future on Android. This space is evolving so rapidly

finally we're getting Vita emulation on android, one of my prolonged dreams are finally coming true!

In many cases I've seen Ryujinx getting games to work better and faster, days before Yuzu does. Such was the case for Metroid Dread.

Vulkan or openGl which is better? Y'know I play few Wii games on dolphin ishiruka when graphic settings put to vulkan the entire screen goes black. Why does that that happens? Anyways, how do we gotta wait to see PS Vita emulator fully functional on android.

I think we need somebody to 3D print a slide out control mechanism for our phones with physical buttons and everything if Sony doesn't do it officially.

They build a phone so powerful … but no controls…who plays games like that? Yeah, 4-5 “idle” games maybe…but those games don’t need a “gaming” phone…

Yes every android users should change their 32 bit phone to 64bit if they wanna takes on the more advanced and newest emulator.
I think pretty much newer phones are all comes with 64 bit cpu.
