Season 14 Riven Guide - Everything you NEED to KNOW

I forgot to add something important. You should focus on getting ability haste in your builds.

Usually 70 Ability Haste is enough (Maybe 50 AH + Shojin passive is good too)

Once you have that, you have enough for Riven to be playable. Enjoy <3

Black cleaver is bad, shojin it's better (even against tanks).

Thanks for the guide. I'm happy with S14 as well. Removing mythics was great decision and opened the doors for variety of builds.

What about stridebreaker? I remember it was good situational item in previous season against Jayce for example, and it got buffed recently

Listen i know this may be weird but if happen to play riven support should i just build the items that are good into ranged matchups like ravenous cause thats what i usually do but i can tell its worse than s13 might try profane

the "build diversity" is so damn true man. feels like items are now more situational, and buy the right ones really affects the game unlike s13 when it's just hydra - boots - cleaver - eclipse every damn game. now i can rush sunderd/eclipse/shojin and build based on enemy comps. i just won a game with sterak yesterday, feels so damn good when you made the right choice with itemizing.

I do love the build diversity in this season, my only compaints is that 1 brutalizer is not what it used to be, and 2 I don't get to use rav hydra most of my games since other 1st items perform better (eclipse and shojin), the only time you get to build hydra is versus range top.

My genuine question is what's the whole build in conjunction to Rav hydra since I rush it as 1st item? Will the bruiser build or burst build be the same? Just remove eclipse?

Quicksilver is a trash item in the last 2 o 3 seasons , dont work anymore , profsne hydra is a really good item , no sustain but really good damage , and the best skins well is your top haha , diferent for others in god: dawnbringer /championship / bladegragon / blattle bunny / spirit blossom thts my top

i really never saw the value of eclipse and prefere to go a healthier and safer build with moderate damage

This is such a good guide. Thanks for your work buddy <3. I like the fact that there is more diversity to items. But i also think that the dmg in Lol is so abnormal high that everyone oneshots everyone.

Very accurate! Love the guide, i've been play testing with riven builds in the early season and everything here checks out with what i've experienced.

I don't get why longsword is a better sustain item.

Dorans has 100hp+ 1 pot+ 3,5% lifesteal.

Longsword has 3 pots and no hp. So you have 1 pot advantage which is 120hp, but no lifesteal
