HOW TO : Use the Xbox Elite 2 Controller with Nintendo Switch EASILY

I bought this adapter, Xone SE for my Xbox Elite 2 controller, after watching this video. Really wishing I didn't now. First thing I tried was the firmware upgrade. I tried on a MacBook, and two Windows machines, and could not get that to work on any configuration. So I decided to move on and just get it to work, the same as shown in this video. Not sure what magic steps I've missed but it certainly does not work for me as it does in this video. I've attached the adapter, set the switch to NS for my Nintendo Switch. No device is recognized.

Feeling basically like I've just bought a plastic brick. Doesn't pair, doesn't upgrade, doesn't work.

Can you Help me, we Use the 8 bit Stick.The Controller is connected but the Buttons are not Working.

Will the mayflash magic ns work with this controller wirelessly?

The button mapping button on the xbox one elite - does that work too if you have your presets saved to change on the quick. Or does that not get recognized?

it kind of looks like it takes quite a bit of space at the bottom of the controller. does it bother you? I think that might be my main concern about getting this attachment. I do appreciate the video.

I am able to connect with ease as you do in the video. My elite controller is not working on the switch although it is connected. None of the buttons respond. The xbox button is still flashing and the controller vibrates every 3 seconds or so. Any advice?

Hey I just bought this because of your video! It looks so simple. Yet when I received the package and plugged it in, it synced with the controller on screen, however I can use my elite as none of the buttons work I can’t leave the grip change screen. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

I just got this device, updated it, got it to connect to my Xbox Series X series II controller and it constantly disconnects.

It's same price as a pro

How does it feel over time? I read some reviews about latency issues and trouble with it staying connected? Any issues to report after a decent amount of use?

i wish mine worked like that , tried the plug and play and the pairing methods with the button on the bottom right , literally just blinks and never connects

What game are you playing to have your paddles mapped that way???? Also why do you have the trash analog sticks in? So confused with how some people do stuff sometimes....

My controller connects however the xbox button stays flashing and wont let any of my buttons work ive connected this controller before and now it wont work

Are you able to use the shift key function on the switch as I use that function to play games one handed

How's the input lag? Considering it but I'll be playing some fighting games so I can't mess around with any input lag.

Yeah the adapter is nice but it`s almost as expensive as the pro Controller

I just bought one of these and an elite series 2 because i couldn't find a real answer on how well the gyro worked.

Well as part of my self imposed challenge to beat inner agent 3 (splatoon 2's hardest boss) with as many controllers as i can. I bought one. And i can totally confirm high level splatoon play is totally viable, and the gyro works just as good as the ns pro and the ds4

so im having a hard time setting up my controller to my switch. the adapter is connected properly to the switch but the controller blinks and vibrates and doesn't connect to idk the adapter? is frustrating the hell out of me

Are there any other steps to the setup for the first time? I just got mine and tried what you explained, but the switch never found my elite series 2 controller. I then plugged it into my laptop and updated the firmware, but I still wasn't able to connect to the switch afterwards.

What does the cable that runs from the adapter to the USB at the top of the controller do?
