I think you really should consider patreon. You have a large enough following that enough of them will subscribe and you wouldn't have to worry about finances
ОтветитьSomeone told me that 30 is too old to start drawing and get good... I will keep driving anyways but it sure is demoralizing.
ОтветитьI am really disappointed that you messed up the catch phrase ... it shouldnt be "fun before dementals." it should be "fun before de mentals" aka "fun before/instead going insane"
Ответитьthe egg is so cute D,: !!!!
ОтветитьWanna know what might be cool. Making a mouse pad. Idk how different painting a mousepad is though or if there is a way to upload digital art to make one though
ОтветитьHow do you make your avatar daaang so smooth
Ответитьthis vid is not it
Ответитьif you make shirts and other clothing stuff i would reach out to bunker branding to do your merch
Ответитьbro actually went through it step by step. W tutorial
ОтветитьWow I didn’t realize stickers can be so impactful as an art product. Great video!
ОтветитьHaving a massive built-in audience helps a lot, and most people don't have that.
ОтветитьAwesome stuff. Recently discovered your channel, really enjoy your videos! Highly recommend you get a label printer for shipping, it will save you a LOT of time (plus there won't be any input errors from your end). If you can integrate a rate shopping service for shipping into squarespace (like easypost) you'll never have to worry about shipping rates again either. Good luck! I'll check out your online store!
ОтветитьIt feels like i've watched an entire business course, thank you this is really useful for my own artist/creator journey!
ОтветитьHey pikat, I was wondering how do you have that cool pixel-art style VTuber avatar? I also want to setup a VTuber avatar but I want to be able to customize the style, do you have any links or guides to help me get started?
ОтветитьHow you feel about selling fanart merch without the copyright license. Most people in the west (i live in europe) ignore those rules which is fine if youre selling on site. Online is a bit more difficult but as long as its 2 most people have no problem.
My issue is: i am a sculptor and I like to do fanart. Recently i am making some figures of a certain franchise which just now had an anime season and s2 is confirmed. They also started releasing their own figurine merch.
For some reason 2d art selling is fine. But if I sell my figure which is a lot better sculpted and close to the source material than the official merch I am conflicted.
The figure community in japan is abaokutely butthurt about sculptors selling their works online. But why is 2d art ignored?
Also what about nsfw sculptures of a franchise. Will the japanese hunt me down?
Maybe it's a stupid question, but if my thing is to draw Pokemons and I want to make stickers of it, am I allowed ? Or is there like a copyright problem because of the licence ?
ОтветитьI have thought about making animations/vtubers for money. It's a digital asset. Unfortunately, everytime I make a new vtuber model, as of now, I love them so much that I want to keep them 😅
ОтветитьDoes anyone know a good place to sell art, something like etsy, but not? XD it's banned in my place, and i want similar, but haven't found a good one
ОтветитьCommissions might seem like a bad revenue stream, but selling at booths is SO complicated. If there isn't any event happening close, you're left with a stock that's not generating any sales, then you feel obligated to deal with an online store. Manufacturers usually are hard to manage, misunderstand instructions, are unable to deal with deadlines, and send products that are not standardized. Shipping. Are you going to leave your address for anyone to see? Are you going to ship packages every day? Someone's package gets stuck somewhere, and suddenly it's your responsibility. Then you have to deal with someone complaining you're taking too long to ship. When you less expect, you branch out and stretch way more than you expected. AAHH! And not to mention expensive tables, some of them with ridiculous high restrictions. It's best to just stay with commissions imo.
ОтветитьPikat with pencil look cutee ❤❤❤
Ответитьsounds like a ton of work. Gotta respect that hustle 🫡
Ответитьso many more people wan't those stickers btw, but I personally am unable to atm 🥲
I hope they stay long enough until I can get them!
"How I sold my Merch to my fans"
ОтветитьDoing art can open so many doors unexpectedly you never thought it was possible for you. So whoever needs to hear this, you got this, if you are passionate about doing arts, don't give up but take breaks if needed to avoid burnouts!
Keep it up pika, you are awesome. You give many great tips for free and I hope artists that come across your video use at least some of them or at least think about them!!
I will buy 21023299023849023 of them ty
ОтветитьTry redbubble
ОтветитьIf i saw a skibidi miku on a convention in would buy her
ОтветитьWhat did you use to make the stickers?
ОтветитьThank you! Any advice for traditional artists? I've thought about trying to make merch like stickers, but that seems complicated enough with digital art ^^;;
ОтветитьAll of you are gay.
Top comment or not.
Youre homosexual.
Patreon actually has stickers mugs and other kind of merchandise to give back
ОтветитьYou probbaly did this.... but check if they print in RGB or CYNK and have your screen calobrated for print. Everything I print looks exactly as it does on screen (like 5% diff). Working in CYNK (or converting to it using photoshop).
ОтветитьPikat patreon waiting room
Ответитьur the best
ОтветитьStickers just arrived safely. They look amazing!!
ОтветитьI know they say “die cut” but they dont actually make dies anymore, often times they’re printed on big sheets off rolls and fed to a vinyl plotter. They do require more work to weed them out after cutting tho.
ОтветитьYou do realize that people who subscribe to your patreon that you could mail them stickers for that, people do it all the time, also you post things to patreon that the patreon subscribers are the only people that can see that, therefore you are giving them something, you're giving them access to hidden content
ОтветитьQuestion: wouldn’t there be copyright issues for selling a product that includes a copyrighted character like Miku…?
Ответитьpikat explains dropshipping (2025)
ОтветитьAs someone who's just begun their steps in becoming a full blown artist, i really appreciate the guidance, because HOLY HELL I DIDN'T REALISE I COULD DO THAT TO MAKE MONEY!
ОтветитьMb thought this was just going to be pron, nice not doing it
Ответитьdo I have to be over 18 to sell merchandise online
ОтветитьThere is something in that... you had the choice of making a patreon, but you didn't. You decided to choose a way that involved a lot of honest work. I respect you so much for that. Not only that, but the love you gave to quality assurance. I've also attempted to do a similar thing as you, but...I fell short in comparison to the job you did. You're setting a good example, you're an amazing woman.
Ответитьmy preferred art sensei rn. stay blessed thanks for the content~
ОтветитьPlzzz make a video about how you animate your character
ОтветитьI sold stickers full time for three years - eventually packing and mailing too SO MUCH TIME that I had NOOOO time to make new ones! That's when I ditched it for a regular graphic design job u_u
Ответитьi can see that you didnt chose vograce, they always send a photo of thw final product so you can change
Ответить
