Those so called isopods are just wood lice
ОтветитьAdd a frog
ОтветитьMy kid is just learning about terrariums and he likes them. His question is: can you make terrariums where there are different kinds of animals and a car for explorers?
(PS. I already gave him my answer but he trusts yours! 😅)
This is cool🤗
ОтветитьHygrophyllia didnt make it?
ОтветитьNice terrarium I bet it weighs a lot
ОтветитьThe bugs you put in the terrarium are called Potato bugs or Rollie Pollies. They usually breed underneath rocks and rotten wood. They're everywhere here in the northern u.s.
ОтветитьGreat video...👍
ОтветитьLooking at a terrarium creates an instant sense of calm and serenity. 🌿🌱🪴🍂🪹🌾
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьIma use coco fibre AND leca for the drainage because I'm gonna do a 2 gallon
ОтветитьLove this! I believe those are woodlice, cute little guys
ОтветитьI've recently created a similar terrarium with a pond feature. The pond keeps fully evaporating - do you have any tips to keep a higher water level so my pond looks full?
ОтветитьMust make you feel like a God building one of those it’s beautiful
ОтветитьCan you build of Eels
Ответитьdoesnt eventualy die because of the issopod over population?
ОтветитьYou should add a little time of frog or snail.
ОтветитьAren’t those ferns going to get enormous? Also, for a more natural looking pond you can use sculpt clay so it’s not a perfect circle:)
ОтветитьJapan nuclear rain will kill the earth. Pour concete upon your nuclear plant not on the sea. Leaders korrea america japan step down now.
ОтветитьJapan will kill the sea. Keep the chain of food in nature. Otherwise men will be killed by cockroach and mouse.
Ответитьjust superb !!
ОтветитьI think this is beautiful and looks like a real forest.
I like the idea of putting animals as well as plants in the terrarium.
I have a question for you. Do you have a problem with the isopods overpopulation?
I swear you could find every plant here in any British forest.
ОтветитьThey look like rolly pollys
Ответитьlooks like a well almost...
ОтветитьBone dry
ОтветитьAdd a centipede

ОтветитьThis is one of my favorites so far. I love the round shape of the glass it would look good in most parts of the house. Using the wood made this look like a mini forest and the acorns were a plus. Nice job.
ОтветитьPlease make more of these videos
Ответить🪿🌿
Ответитьfrog
Ответитьcan you recommend any good items to start a terrarium?
Ответитьcan you put the leaves inn really hot water too cus i have done that before
Ответитьcan you just add woodlice to your terrariums?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this. I am a new subscriber. Terrariums have always fascinated me since I read about one as a child, and I have always wanted to make one, even though I am no avid gardener or have any gardening background. Your videos unravelled the mystery so well. Thanks!
ОтветитьYou should add a few small snails
ОтветитьWhat if the spring tails come out of the glass box
ОтветитьIs it a good idea to introduce a predator inside a terrarium to combat the over population of the isopods? A predator like a wood scorpion which is relatively small in size?
ОтветитьNeeds a sling like a house spider
Ответитьadd more isopods!
Ответитьcarrots!
ОтветитьI’d like snails or crabs or spiders anything small for that Terrarium
ОтветитьOf course I watch this immediately after finishing a build with 3 ponds (going to try 3 basic PH levels), and NOW see the silicone coating technique. Oops!
I put smaller pieces of drain material under the containers, so they can sit lower. I even cut through the mesh layer to sit them super low. I plan on eventually doing a build with flat sides, so I can place a rectangular container flush against one side and see in. I had thought of putting silicone on the OUTSIDE of the clear container to adhere pea pebbles or whatever, so it's easier to place substrate around, but I'll definitely be doing this, too.
Put in the terrarium snails
ОтветитьPut a Japanese giant hornet inside of it.
ОтветитьWould those ittybitty snails work in this? Feel frre to translate ittybitty into scientific wording. Lol
ОтветитьWay to complicated
ОтветитьDon’t expect the plants to live. My isopods destroyed my air-plant even though they weren’t supposed to (species said to do good in there) I now how 4 leaves left trying to revive it
