Unboxing Fortis Flieger F-39.

As a bit of a blue collar guy myself, I totally understand what you mean by "it's a little too fancy for me" lol. The Monta is a gorgeous watch, no doubt, but if it doesn't feel 'you', then I think that you made the right call passing on it (especially with the potentially upgraded Skyquest 2 right around the corner). I LOVE this Fortis 39 & the entire Flieger lineup. It might strike some as simple at first, but there's so much detail going on here, between the stadium bezel, blocks of lume & multi-layered dial. I would've gone with the black too. The orange dial details are awesome. My only minor gripe is that the (awesome!) bracelet doesn't taper at all, but I guess it balances out the beefy case, so probably a non-issue. Awesome clasp. Thanks for sharing, man!

Congrats - great pickup! I have a pair of F-39s and LOVE them. Don't forget to look under the top of the box cover - that's where the COA and other docs for the watch are. You should get the gravity black big Fortis Hook strap - that would looks awesome on this watch. Enjoy!
