Im wondering about the state of anne harlow. I was vaguely following along with your challenge (mostly the difficulty settings) and got really bored because all of my AI were at peace and Anne was not making a powerful enough fleet to compete with the other AI and she was only building small amount monitor ships. I used the normal setting like you but Im afraid she just doesn't build fast enough to keep up and eventually not strong enough to defend herself.

so i actually started a new game with different AI and Hard pirate. This time the AI are going to war and Anne seems to be holding up a lot better. so if you ever want to try even harder mode, put Anne on hard instead of normal.

are you not using town hall items? there's so many good things you can buy for 80-100k that are more useful or profitable than buying shares

also I dont know how common this is, im prob late to the party but at the start when trying to save money and resources im just building 1 police station and 2 fire station 2 hospital.. when something breaks out i will just move the station near the incident. the reaction time might be a little slow because of the training timer but so far it's resolved pretty easily.

You should move your shipyard to the industrial area and add more guns there and that you can use that space on the main harbour for things

You still need a Fire station and police station closer to the Tradeport/main harbor
And you need to make more Bread too

Next goal : conquer another island by buying them
