The Texas Instruments AM62A and AM62A-Q1 processors are automotive-grade, heterogeneous Arm processors equipped with up to four Arm Cortex-A53 application cores and two Arm Cortex-R5F cores. They also feature a deep learning accelerator, a vision processing accelerator with TI’s 7th gen ISP, and multiple vision assist accelerators.

Connectivity options include a 3-port gigabit ethernet switch with TSN support, a camera interface, CAN-FD, and more. Additionally, these processors come with a built-in hardware security module to support secure boot for IP protection. Advanced power management capabilities ensure high-performance computation and inferencing capability in a low-power envelope, making them suitable for portable and power-sensitive applications.
