I’m not disappointed that disappointment doesn’t disappointment me anymore

I live in Greece, I was in the age of 18 when I took the choice of joining the army early to finish my mandatory service. Once I finished my service I worked in the summer season of tourism as a bell boy. I worked hard and made a plan for a better life once I finish with the season. I flew and moved to Germany with all the little momey I had, I firstly staied in a shared apartment with 12 other people, the apartment was full of bed bugs, it was a difficult start. After a month I made it to find a good apartment and after an other month of strugle I made it to find a good job, making my old sallary of 750€ to 2500€. I worked hard, but I wanted to go into a university and study. I was loolimg for economic options, so I asked my father if there is something that I want to study in a good price back in Greece. Because if you want free education you have to pay over 5000€ for 3 years for extra school just for the final exams that you might not even be able to pass because the system is made so less a less students can graduate every year.I rember asking my father not to pay this and keep the money aside for the future, once I be mature enough to choose what I want to do for the rest of my life and he was fighting like crazy with me for these words. I found a few good deals to study in Germany or in the netherlands, my father told me he looked everything and it would be cheaper, I made the mistake to believe him. So I did the mistake to fly back in Greece, but for my bad luck I had to see myself that the money I needed for 3 years of educations in Germany had to be paid per year for my studies in Greece, which is a stupid price, at leadt for the poor folks. I was incredibly upset about it, so my parents started doing double shifts to help me afford my studies. I also have a younger brother and a younger sister, my brother is mentaly ill, but still a smart boy. He likes electronics. So my mother took them to a cheap option shop, to see the prices, they saw a mi band 6 in the price of 10 euroes, the mormal once at the time was around 60, so in my suprise I said, if it actually is the good stuff to get me one aswel with my money from my tips from job. I should mension that in my job I carry suit cases through stairs every day, all day. Most of them being 23-25 kg each. So they get the watches and for my very bad luck I saw that the cheap option store they bough them for was a chinese store, so they were of course fake. I was outragious. For wasting my money into something that is not even supposed to work. My mother felt sorry and gave me back my 10 euroes that I had been fcked for and felt sorry, at least thats what she seemed like. My father later on hears on the situation and starts telling me bullshit of the type that they work 2 jobs for me since they TRAPPED the shit out of me being unable to pay for a new phone since I have my phone for 7 years. All because of ignorance and lies about every little thing. I have been feeling disappointed for doing this to me. Am I wrong that I want my money back after doing shit them? Am I a jerk for talking back to my father telling me that he is doing 2 jobs for me while Im getting hard fcked physicly and mentaly for 700€ when I use to make a lot more somewhere else? I personaly feel like if they are trully sorry about what they did to me that they should help me without complains about me complaining for my monther getting scammed with her and my money. For being so ignorant without even asking me about the store or about the items they wanted to purschace. Am I a bad person? Am I egoistic. I surely am disappointed.

Dont give up, applied to many jobs, and yesterday got a missed call, when i called back they said they had enough people for the interview. Keep pressing everyone, we got get disappointed sometimes❤

I looked up, How to handle disappointment. This came up. Very powerful words. Life is full of disappointments. FULL! I’ve read a bumper sticker many times “Life is Bitch then you die!” I’ve thought those words in my heart. They are powerful too. What makes it worse is being a believer, The one who can change it all seems to let you down. Bottom line in many ways life Sucks at best. Yes there are great times but the disappointments still come and still pack a powerful punch. Hard to pick your self up. However this was a very strong speech. I am grateful for it.
