Bro I've been waiting for somebody to bring up pillars. Blood is goated cuz how fast it charges compared to the small amount of health that it takes. Soul is my worst nightmare, the chimera have aoe attacks so if you aren't on a god run one shotting everything, you are basically destined to die in a soul pillar. Mass is meh, and design is balanced.
EDIT: and if you have focused convergence or eclipse modifiers, soul becomes the worst no matter the case of your run
