Ответитьthe mic boost option is missing for my headset idk why, and i cant change the audio format its greyed out
Ответитьthank you so much so much time wasted just to find out windows turned down my mic level by its self.
Ответитьthanks man, just got my computer upgraded and realized my mics sensitivity was out of whack, the first method of fixing it worked perfectly
Ответитьrecorded in audacity, it's very loud, but in system settings, the green meter is barely even turning green. it's hard to gauge how loud my mic is unless i do a recording test. boost is 30+ and at 100%, only 1 green bar is showing up when the whole thing should be turning green. it's happening with all my mics (webcam, headset mic, desktop mic) no matter what i use :( if i set it to 20+ and 80%, it SHOULD technically be the right level as I've done this in the past with my previous PC. this one simply refuses to cooperate. what could be the issue? tried all available drivers on the site (aorus gaming 7 op) all drivers have this issue.. i know it has something to do with the fact that gigabyte is using the sabre dac, which requires a custom driver from gigabyte, else, i've had no luck trying to obtain the raw realtek driver (downloading at 4kbps) and then times out and i can never obtain it -_-
ОтветитьOMG! Thanks so much! I have watched a million videos, and none of them showed me how to do this! Turns out my mic was at like 40%. Thanks!!! :D
Ответитьilysm
ОтветитьWow thus really helps first i had 4% volume and now 100% wtf

ОтветитьThank you bro it worked
ОтветитьThanks. I have an old Astro A50 headset that's no longer officially supported. For some reason the mic has been extremely low volume for awhile now, which I'm guessing happened with a Windows update. Anyway, the software you recommended worked perfectly.

ОтветитьAfter doing this, my microphone is still quiet. What do I do?
ОтветитьWhy did you change the channel config to stereo instead of leaving it mono?
ОтветитьYou saved my life i love you
ОтветитьI did all the steps but after I restarted and download, my mic doesn't even work anymore and I don't hear it during my mic test. Then when I uninstall, my mic works again, but the volume is just low. I don't have a mic boost slider neither do I have an enhancements tab anywhere on my sound settings. Any clue why? I have a Logitech G533 too
