Thank you so much mandeep for this interesting video, you guys have made a lot of efforts to explain this. now the issue is that in my case, i have taken health insurance for self, floater, and also parents and also supertop up; on health insurance claimed only 1 time for parents, in last 15 yrs;
policies are old, so i want to know if you can share, though i will read up the TnC again - if new terms and conditions get applied to old policies without informing the customer? to be frank, the IVR call center support executives are UNTRAINED big time, they are only paid agents to yap yap yap and have ZERO knowledge. and infact agents and company officials also are dead concrete heads; and underwriters are the ones who will force the policy implementation through front end agents. this is a sad scenario in india, unlike US where they have strong legal consumer support, here we consumers are all dead meat for service providers.
Is there any coverage by you in any other video about the poor quality of support these companies provide to the customers in terms of getting their claims settled smoothly?

One question:
Room rent upto SI(10L).
Now if SI increases to 50L(includes NCB super bonus) in 5 years. Does it mean we'll have room rent of upto 50L or 10 L??

My advice based on personal experience- *take a policy as soon as possible ,
*Disclose any pre existing illness , that even incudes findings in routine blood tests , only disclose those problems that you will be informing your doctor when admitted
* do not expect much from insurance unless 4 years of policy is over, insurance companies are working for profit not for your well being , but it can be helpful only if you have one
* always save money 3- 10 lakhs incrementally exclusively for health
* better stay away from star health
