Ingat lang kayu sa naglalako ng sugpo dyan napaka mandurugas sa mga turista. Kulang ang kilo pag kinilo muna.

Most unprofessional owner that I have confronted. Our experience on destinare beach resort is very disappointing due to the insatisfactory service that they offer such as used pillows that contain stains, interrupted water supply and lacking ammenities for their accomodations such as tables and chairs. The most horrible thing is that how the management handled the situation. On the first night we asked them for the table and chairs that should be included with our nipa hut, they addressed it by saying that they will bring the table and chairs after around 30 mins of waiting they said that they dont have anymore tables and chairs available since they have rented it out to other guest knowing that those tables are already reserved to designated nipa huts. The worst part about this is when we started to voice out our complaints the management including the owner and her daughter started to defend their mistakes instead of addressing it. They yelled at my wife and pointed their finger at her when we asked compensation for their lack of service and when they noticed that we are recording the conversation they threathened to call the police and started mentioning that they know the mayor, after a few minutes both of them had a drastic change of attitude and told us to just enjoy the show and not be stressed like nothing happened.
This is the first time in my life that I have witnessed where a business owner yelled and pointed fingers to her clients given that the mistake is on their part.The problems are really basic which can be solved immediately so their service is really unacceptable given that the charges are in the 5 digit range. They never apologized and showed emphaty to the inconvinience.

Here are our key experiences at destinare beach resort.


Positive:

Beach and the trekking views are pretty for picture taking purposes.


Negative
• Nipa hut ammenities is not as shown on the advertisment and nipa hut is far.
• No tables and chairs are provided for eating where do they expect their giest to eat and place their foos
• Water Supply is interrupted most of the time.
• Restroom is made of steel roof with holes and unhygenic.
• Restroom has no lock and has no place to hang towels and place for toiletries.
• Restroom smelled of used napkins and dead rats, the restroom has a hole in the floor where used napkins and waste are dumped
• Room is not clean when handed over to guest, floor is dusty.
• Dirty Pillows are old with lots of pale yellow stains on it
• Bedsheets are old and smelled used
• Pillows and blankets are not proportional to maximum number of guests.
• Flooring has exposed rusted nails which is very dangerous when stepped on
• Owners are disrespectful and doesn't show emphaty to guests that are complaining. They yelled at us and pointed their fingers when confronted about the problems and compensation duw to the lacking service and inconvenience. They keep defending their mistakes instead of staying calm to solve the problems.
.there are police officers standing there while we were having a commotion with the owners they didn’t even bother to confront us and ask if they can any be of help to solve the yellings.
• Staff point to each other when confronted about problems. They dont address it.
• Electrical outlets are not mounted properly.
• Place is understaffed
• Garbage is dumped everywhere. Cleanleness was very poor.
• Nipa hut is infested with termites
-our nipa hut was not yet cleaned before our arrival kami pa ang nagsabi na linisin nila. At hindi pinalitan ang mga bedsheet nag spray spray lang yung staff pero amoy na amoy parin ang mga baho ng bedsheet at kumot nila.
-Charges are not clearly stated upon booking. Access to pool is 100 pesos per day , trekking 20 per head.
-no full coordination from the 1st island to the 2nd island knowing na no signal na sa 2nd island like no help at all and no power ka kahit anong reklamo mo.
-no lifeguard knowing na wala silang time linit sa pagligo sa beach marami parin naliligo kahit madaling araw na. What if may mangyare it will be too late for help.
-pag dating namin sa 1st island at may signal na kami nag report kami sa pinaka malapit na police station sa san antonio para mag file ng case. Dahil sa 2nd island walang signal wala kaming help na makuha sa kanila. Dadaragin ka lang ng mga owners dahil lugar nila iyon. Why do we have to experience such things? Na ang gusto lang sana namin mag relax at napili namin ang resort nila.

suggestions sa mga pupunta:

-sa mga mag tetent lang ang charging fee nila sa information is 50 pesos for 30 mins and 100 for 1 hr. Bring a lot of powerbanks if you have.
-may bayad ang pool 100 per day ang trekking 20 pesos per head
-bring a lot of water lalo na kung marami kayo 100 pesos ang isang water jug dun and nung time namin bibili kami wala ng water naubusan na sa dami ng guests na inacccept nila.

We will never go back to that place. Highly doesn’t recommend. Worst beach experience ever.

Sir Drew Arellano can you grant my small wish? As someone who is travelling around the country and have resources, can you please encourage every community that you have been reached to plant tree's? Alam ko pong wala po akong karapatan para manghingi ng pabor pero nag babasakali po ako. Nasa kritikal na po yung sitwasyon ng ating mundo sa usaping climate change. Sana po mapansin nyo ang pakiusap ko. Hindi pa po huli ang lahat. Salamat po. God bless you po.
