Joomla Vs WordPress: Which CMS To Choose For Your Website?

WP may be a better option for lazy people who cant be bthered and who folow the advice of all and sundry suggestng it as a blog but in my experience, WP is a nightmare on the backend. every plugind pesters the hell out of your dashboard so getting done what needs doing is messed up by marketing messages in the back end. I also found that just about every WP site I installed was pathetically slow even on a VPS. Joomla wins hands donw on all counts in my view.

But then, I came here looking for a specific SEO and google comments to try and push me into using WP for an upcoming blog, but so far Ill stick with Joomla, Its fast and easy to use on the backend.

I hate plug-ins. It means you have to trust who developed them with the current standards. I worked with Wordpress…ok. Joomla I just am starting to get expose and already see better.

You can run Yoast page analysis on Joomla! with Route66 plugin from firecoder. You can also use PWT SEO, does pretty much the same as Yoast. So if you are going to judge Wordpress with the addition of a plug in (Yoast), should you not do the same with Joomla! ? Or rate both CMS without plugin. Play fair.

People say that wordpress is better JUST BECAUSE is more intuitive, more friendly, more visual graphic interface and easier to use. We need just invest a little more time in learning how to use joomla with good tutorials and we'll notice that joomla is better because is more customizable and more secure.

Joomla can use many domain for 1 folder website, but WordPress can not. 1 domain and other domain have to redirect to 1st domain. I love both of them.
