If I went back in time to the 1930s, I can think of better things to do than trying to change history and save an eloquent but fairly mediocre president. Like buying all the stock I can lay my hands on for IBM, Dupont, Coca Cola and McDonalds.

This reminds me of a story line I heard years ago. I never saw it but I believe it's either a short film or TV episode and from what I understand an Englishman uses a time machine which I believe can only be used once to kill Hitler a couple of years before the war. When he comes back he's shocked to find that the war still happened, and Britain lost and is now NAZI occupied. It seems that killing Hitler didn't stop NAZI war goals. It just allowed Hitler to be replace by a more competent leader.
I've searched off and on for this but never found it.
Might have even been a short story.

interesting Story.. Young JFK knowing what happens with his Family brothers and sisters including himself.....is shocking but going back to his own time with knowledge of the future is not good cause if he changes his life then the time line changes.

Timeless was okay, lost interest after a season or two but the concept was interesting, just too much present day politics mixed into this show...

Not even a minute in, I'm making this comment. This recap for a single episode, doesn't and can't possibly do the series, called Timeless, justice.

If you liked this at all, you've got to watch the entire series. Sure, it's full of plot holes like all science fiction, but it's still though provoking. I'm just upset it didn't last more than 2 seasons, because it could have been so much more. I think it was because a more popular show was being aired in a more favorable time slot, at the time.

I'm just very grateful that in spite of all that, even if it was slightly rushed, the writers could achieve closure. That's far more than what Firefly got, or what the video game series Half-Life got.

But yeah, if you thought this was even moderately interesting, watch the whole series if you can. As of this writing it's still on Hulu as it was from day 1. Don't know if it's on Amazon for an extra fee, but it might be. Whatever it takes, watch the whole series. You won't regret it.

Not a movie, TV show called Timeless. Loved the entire series wish they had continued it

I think someone has highly overestimated JFK's effect on this country. His death affected us more than did his life. It would have been a better story if they had prevented Kennedy's assassination and the subsequent changes. I'm not sure that there is much of anything that would have happened differently, if Kennedy had actually never been president.

LBJ did most of the things mentioned, and not just because he loved Kennedy and his ideas for the country. In fact, they were not even the same type of Democrat, and about as chummy as Trump and Pence were with each other. Kennedy worked for the American people, LBJ worked for the Democratic Party. However, as a Texan, I can't thank LBJ enough for what he did for Texas.

Kennedy was assassinated for going against the Fed Res and printing US Dollars, LBJ started the Welfare State. Think what might have been different, if Kennedy had gotten a second Term...

The timeline is still ruined, because Kennedy was supposed to die in Dallas.
