Such a good video idea. You answered a super niche question that I have had since they announced these CPUs.
ОтветитьPutting a 3950X in this thing. Gonna be badass.
Ответитьme planning on buying an a 320(yes i know they are old but budget)
ОтветитьToyota! Smart guy.
ОтветитьI got a B550M-HDV form ASRock and it cost 60 bucks it works very good with the 3900X
ОтветитьI have an MSI b450m bazooka v2 and iam buying an used 3900x and a gpu to substitute my ryzen 2400g. Im using the pc for 3d modeling and render. Hope everything can work ok. What do u think? Also crap vrm's but probably a little bit better than that gigabyte Mb, rights? Thanks for your video.
ОтветитьAll 3 of us ☠☠☠☠ im hurt 😭🤣
ОтветитьIf youre using 5000 r9 series, you can't use 2400mhz ram stick cmiiiw
Ответитьim planning to upgrade on 3700x using msi a320m a-pro, is this possible?
ОтветитьI have an asus prime a320m-k and a ryzen 7 3700x and I get good temps like the same as when I had a ryzen 3200g
Ответитьcan this bored run a ryzen 7 1700 ?
ОтветитьWhat about the 3700x?
ОтветитьYou should have also tested it on an fm2 motherboard, lol
ОтветитьGenial, ahora sé que si puedo ponerle un 3700x a mi motherboard.
ОтветитьIf you added copper or aluminum heatsink, temperatures would definitely drop by 20 or half.
ОтветитьCan you do a comparison with the X470 against the X570 and B450? (If you haven't already.)
Ответитьcheapest AM4 CPU with the most expensive AM4 Motherboard????
Ответитьhello. I have a fast, maybe fool question: iF I upgrade the CPU from 2400G to Ryzen 7 - I suppose I got to install as new the Windows maybe format. am I wrong?
Ответитьwell well well i had a faulty z370a mothetrboard, i knew because when i changed this and the cpu only this, games stopped crashing... took the cheapest mobo first in case it was something else. tried a 2700x there and has been playing for 2 weeks no problems. first vrm mosfet were 110c during gaming but i added a fan near them, controlled by the bios it never goes beyond 90 in game and average 70 ... only cinebench is thermal throttlilng and i loose a bit some score... couldn't care the less i only game in 4k with it so i am very satisfied . you shouldn't but if it just works and already has the mobo why not
Ответитьuseful vid cheers!
ОтветитьStumbled upon this video in one of my “could it be done” thoughts! Extremely useful and concise information.
Ответитьwhich is the cheapest motherboard should I get? I still don't understand vrm and mosfet. Choosing motherboards used to be as easy as comparing socket type. now there is tier list and motherboard manufacturer also lists most of their motherboards as compatible.
ОтветитьIs it safe to use standard psu on this motherboard?
ОтветитьThis is not fair 3900x on a320m. Guys who are in tight budget would never buy 3900x. Ryzen 3300x with a320m would make more sense as I'm getting a320m for half the price of b450m, this will help me to invest more on GPU.
Ответитьthis is the motherboard, that i'm using now. thanks for this video
ОтветитьOMG.. i just found your channel 😅
im looking for B550. But this is interesting.. would you make something like this again?
My cheap ass is always in search of these videos. Subbed
Ответитьi bet some undervolting on ryzen master would solve the temp issue on the mosfets
ОтветитьThis kinda shows that b450 could be viable for these chips though.
Ответитьi am using this piece of beast on x570 gaming edge wifi ...
Works like charm.with rtx 2080super.
I like how u talk so cool and relaxed ...subscribed👍🏻
ОтветитьOne scenario : building data compute farm. If you get enough money but not threadripper level money, an altrrnative is building compute cluster in which each were made from r9 3900x, a320m, 2x16 ddr4 3200, and single 500gb nvme. Data are stored in dedicated ssd nest, connected over gigabit network. If 320m fail after long data crunching session, just replace with 450. Cheap, can added when necessary, and in waaay lower cost and easily replaceable
Ответитьyou used old cpu to update the bios?
ОтветитьActually, the VRM is not 4-phase, it's only 3-phase. The chokes are just laid out to make it look like a 4+2 when it's actually a 3+3 (not sure why, but Gigabyte apparently thought it was a good idea). You can tell if you look at the mosfet layout - the CPU phases each have 3 mosfets, while the SoC phases have 2 mosfets each.
ОтветитьHaha I just did something similar. I was ready to buy all the stuff for a killer 3700x build that the internet said I should get. The more I looked into, I ended up with a B450 Gaming Plus Max and put the $100+ savings over the X570 board toward a 3900x... It makes more sense not to pay a ton for features you're not gonna use.
Ответитьb450 gigabyte + 3900x is ok ?
ОтветитьSo the next logical question is - whats the cheapest MoBo that will properly run the Ryzen 9 fully? There are those of us who just want super fast, multi threads power that are not gamers, and just want a simple system that works. All the expensive stuff is geared towards gamers with the silly LED's and lights and are just as much about bling as they are about quality.
ОтветитьBlack Linus
Ответитьwhat about ryzen 5 3600x ? i have the ryzen 5 3600 x but i don't have much money for Motherboard.
ОтветитьHere for the “Concept”
ОтветитьActually I had a motherboard . If you leave the stock miles on it 42 you have PCI Gen 4 . But good luck overclocking it .
ОтветитьVerdict:
Go for b450/x370
decent x370 is at least
Ответитьsubd for the debt lol
Ответить3950x seems to draw lesser power than 3900x and have eco mode aswell..will it work fine with my b450m hdv r4 though?
ОтветитьWhy not do this with more realistic scenario. With r5 3600 for example.
ОтветитьGreaaaaaaat video :) I have an Asus A320 EX Gaming (with VRM heatsink) and I was wondering if I was able to use at least a 3700x
ОтветитьSince 3700 is also 65 watt will it work with a320
Ответить
