Kuyasa Combined School - Parliament interview

The Kuyasa Secondary School Youth press team was invited by the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform to attend the Budget Speech by Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane in Parliament on the 11th May 2018. Kuyasa CS is one of the schools on the iSchoolAfrica learning programme funded by the DRDLR and iSchoolAfrica. The learners had never been to Cape Town and had never flown on an airplane. They interviewed a few of the DRDLR’s decision makers which included the Minister and Deputy Minister of the DRDLR. They documented every part of their trip so that everyone could experience this ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity with them. Well done Kuyasa Secondary School.
