Nvidia AI Denoising would clean up the path trace version immensely, and also reduce the render time. Not sure if it’s implemented in this software yet though.

Why did you record the path tracing in a VHS?

Kill me if u want but ... Lumen looks crystal clear but the path tracer has a much more realistic atmosphere what i feel more comfortable with. Colors, Lights and shadows look very believable, reflection like on the leather feels like u could smell it. Idk if you used the same physical material in the projects. Would be interesting to see same results without noise but i think its about saving time so lumen maybe wins.

The comparison is unfair. You should do a little detail in lighting to make up the difference between Path Tracing and Lumen system
Lighting with Lumen system needs direct lighting with HDRI and needs a little indirect lighting from the sun and sky
You can reimburse some accounts during some choices in the Post-process in Lumen system GI settings

I agree it will not reach 100% path tracing result, but you will get a very close result and you will not care about this huge difference that is obvious to you now

So the lighting method would vary if it would work on the GPU Building system would also be a different way to get the same or better result

Each system has a different approach to lighting and the degree of material lighting of Material to get great results according to the capabilities of each system
