What Is The Best Event Tank In War Thunder?

90% of the time when I see anybody with over 14 kills, its some sweaty KV-220 smurf with 8000k+ kills in the tank.

M4A2 75 is my favorite tanks and easily for me the best non premium vehicle in the game but the m3bradley is a close second the best tank in warthunder probably was the Churchill mk1 but with br change it got not so much anymore

i don't know but i remember the M6A1 being pretty good cause it's basically a Maus at 4.7

One of my favourites is the StuG III G. Strong armour for the tier, good speed, good gun, small silhouette, but most importantly extremely good gun handling. Being a panzer III chassis it turns around very quick, quicker than Shermans, T-34s, and Pz IVs, adding a 10.5 degree gun skewing rate you get a gun that targets very quickly despite not having a turret. The Panzer III chassis is also pretty smooth riding, meaning it's reasonably good in short stop firing. Overall it's just a very nice handling vehicle IMO.

IS 2 is for me the bset because if u know how to angle properly with the ank it is hard to kill and i 1shots evrything in its br and even can kill King Tiger h unfortunably relad is its enemy so u have to do boom and zoom tacktic on the ground like shooting an enemy kiling it and retreting and it priti mobile

the Panzer III "M" is the best low-tier German Tank. I pick it over the Pz. 4 "F2" and Pz. 4 "G" every game. The "M" just EATS incoming rounds (in my experience). Where the "F2" and "G" are easily one tapped when hit in the front plate (where the MG is). I've been hit point blank by T34s in the "M" with no penetration. The tank is pretty quick too and has a fast turret rotation speed. It also shoots rather quickly, i think with a trained crew it can reload in under 5 seconds , possibly even faster than that.

My personal favorite is the M15/42. decent mobility (except for reverse) and survivability, as well as great ammo, fast reload and turret traverse, and overall firepower. I regularly drop 12 kills in arcade

Object 279 is god tier, nothing is more satisfying than pummeling cold war MBTs and their lame OP ammunition with the might of a real cannon.

What’s insane is the ka-chi has one of the best camouflages in the game. You can park next to a building and half the lobby will never notice you

Personally I think the 75mm puma is the greatest event vehicle ever. You can take that boi into any br and slap.

My favorite event vehicles are the Pak Puma and the VFW. They're both situational, but on those maps they're suited for, they are like demigods. I have over 2500 kills in the Pak Puma at 3:1 and more than 4800 kills in the VFW ar 4:1. Their only real weakness is being open topped. They get murdered by planes. I probably get killed three or four times as often by planes in the VFW as I do by ground vehicles. On some maps, it isn't at all uncommon for me to get 10-15 kills with the VFW. At this point, I can pretty much range the gun intuitively, and get accused of cheating a lot. Nobody believes I can squeeze off a 1 shot hit/kill like I frequently do at over 2000 yards, but its really only a matter of having shot the damn thing tens of thousands of times. On big Sinai, kursk, and maginot, and european province, I own the map. At least I do until a fighter finds me. If it were possible to manually set the range on the fuse HE rounds, the VFW would be an absolute doom wagon against planes and light vehicles behind cover. I keep hoping it will finally happen on some update. If it ever happens, it will be like Christmas for a while. As things are at present, the revenge cam is the bane of its existence.

I greatly enjoyed hunting the 279's with the FV4005 back when the game was crawling with them and they were spawn crashing so bad because nobody knew how to kill them. I used to spawn on certain maps and go camp my own spawn from behind cover and concealment and wait for them to steamroll through our team into the spawn. I could usually kill 4 or 5 before they figured out where I was. Then I'd J out and death dive one or two more in a Canberra loaded with the 5x1,000 Ib bombs. It really says something about how much 279 spam there was that I could adapt an entire cancerous game play style to counter them, for 3 or 4 weeks and absolutely slaughter them the way I did. It was almost like it was clubbing planes and helis when the Tungy first came out. Absolute slaughter. That 183mm HESH absolutely evaporated them. I've been playing WT so long, that I've grown into somewhat of a oncological specialist. I don't play as much as I used to, so when I do, I'm looking for broken and cancerous vehicles that generate a very specific kind of game play that can be exploited and taken advantage of by only maybe one or two vehicles. Back with the 279 spam, it was the FV4005 spawncamp. With the Ka-50 cancer, it was cap rushing with an M22 and then spawning an F-4 with a gun pod and cutting the engine to glide in on unsuspecting heli cancer. More recently, I was trolling Pumas at range with the Foch and up close with IS7.

And why are players not allowed to experience these vehicles then? This is a game, everyone should have access to all gameplay altering content.

Games are supposed to be fun. Exclusivity on the other hand is elitist, unfair and predatory.

In my opinion, the best tank in war thunder is the Panther A. No, I’m not being a wehraboo. The Panther A has great speed, armor, decent reload, great cannon and penetration, has smoke in case you need to repair. It has artillery, great turret traverse speed, is pretty balanced, and has a great 5.7 lineup to back it up. I’d say the only downside is that it has a poor reverse speed.

Best tank in the game is the one that I have positive KD in after a match. duh.

I know in world of tanks the TOG is called a land battleship but that thing is literally a boat with I just when I 1st came across it I had it signed on with a vehicle that have nothing but machine guns so I tore it to shreds but it was so weird so surreall coming across that

MY KV220 is easily my favorite Russian tank , followed by my BMD4 and my object 270.

When you can take down 3 enemy tanks starting from being ambushed had my breech shot out and just pummeled with rounds on a 40 sec repair and destroyed all 3 ! effing glorious.

The objectillio deserves more merit than it has... it was the pinacle of "all steel armor" made tanks with several unproven technologies like 4-tracks running gear, hydropneumatic suspension, and the loading mechanism alongside mechanized ammo rack. It was supposed to become the primary tank of the supreme command reserve.

Think id probably give it to the 279. The 220 is good, but killable with the old barrel and track method like a tiger or panther. The 279 on the other hand can just sit there and take shots in a 1v3 of me and my friends playing us, and while it may not kill all of us if we get a barrel, at least one usually dies cause of a lack of stabilizer sometimes or other, and even after breaking barrel and a track they usually have aced crew so its good quick and takes numerous well placed shots to kill

It's basically a later version of the Panther but added additional spaced armor everywhere.

There can’t be no best tank imo, each tank fits a play style, do you want fast paced combat? Well maybe a tank like object 906, m18, bulldog, or pak puma might be the best, do you want sniping combat? Then maybe the Ferdinand, and top tier mbt, or t95 might the the best, do you want slower paced combat where you can take a bunch of hits and survive? Then maybe the Maus, E-100, or is-3 might be the best, do you want a mix of them all? Then maybe a mbt is the best, this is why there is no best tank, only best tank for a certain play style
