Perfectly setup and filmed footage like this doesn't even need nothing. In your freelance lifetime you will get footage like this maybe about three times and that's about it. Two times out of those three times footage has turned out to be perfect like that by sheer accident cause circumstances have aligned. Rest of the time you will be getting 8bit crap off iPhones, camcoders and some old and forgotten Canon or Nikon shot on full auto. If it was not full auto then it has issues with exposure, noise, focus and other stuff they expect you to pick up and clean up in the post.
Ответитьthis sauce is named Panavision ;)
Ответитьwow tutorial
ОтветитьDoes it work with 8 bit videos?
ОтветитьMEGA! thanks so much!
Ответитьany tips for CST for go pro 7 black?
ОтветитьThanks bradahhh...awesome
Ответитьthis nodes are so complicated !!!
ОтветитьI'd like to say I really appreciate how you've slowed down your speech a little in the last year. It has made the biggest difference in enjoying these tutorials. You're the GOAT.
ОтветитьI'm traying to look your 1 hours broadcast, but its doesn't worked
Any ideas ?
Can anyone tell me where to find free Log footages to practice color grading???
ОтветитьIs there a way to watch your 1 hour training video as a VOD? I need to be able to pause as I follow along. Is this a possibility? Or if there's a VOD available after we watch the live-streamed webinar?
ОтветитьWhat website do you recommend for film music?
Ответитьwhat is the colorspace transform settings here??
ОтветитьQazi, question that you've probably answered on another video? why do you sometimes add CST first and in other videos add it pre-Lut near the end? Very curious about the proper workflow.
Ответитьqazi i just want to say thank you. i saw your video with the girl on the bike and from that was able to finally create a look to a video ive been working on for weeks with no luck! i really appreciate the way you use davincis tools in a way to make life easy. thanks again brother keep it up
ОтветитьUnbelievable. Thank you!
ОтветитьFor those wondering about what's happening in the Halation part:
He dials the Dye Layer(sounds like 'Dilator' in the video) down to nearly zero and then brings them back up, and increasing the spread. For some reason it doesn't come on screen - I believe that's it!
Great tutorial as always!
How can i download your powergrade? Love from india 🇮🇳❤️
Ответитьthank you
Ответитьcan your team teach me in german language?
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьYou would THROW UP if you saw my what my clip looks like even after following every single step. I need a tutorial on grading shitty footage.
Ответитьhello sir , can you tell me please how to import MXF file in Davinci Resolve . i imported MXF file but it imported only audio not video
Ответитьamazing!
ОтветитьDo you have a step-by-step color correcting course for beginners? I’m learning Davinci Resolve as I want my knowledge base to be built on a platform that professional colorists are known to use. Currently, I shoot corporate videos and have no need to apply any cinematic grading any work I do, but I want accurate colors and contrast that take full advantage of my cameras (BMPCC 4K and Canon C200) dynamic range and is ready for broadcast. Any playlist or courses for purchase you have that will help me achieve my goal would be greatly appreciated.
ОтветитьHey Qazi, Love your work. I think I am having some issues with understanding what I am looking at and how to see what I am looking at and get to what I am looking for. Half the time, I just play around and get to something decent. Understanding what the waveforms are telling me and what I need to do to get there is probably 85% of what is missing. If your course goes over that, I would 100000000% buy it.
ОтветитьI need help: whats a good range to charge for grading a 95min feature??
ОтветитьBROOOO THIS IS THE BEST GRADE I EVER DID AND FOLLOWED!! i JUST MADE A MOVIE! Can I send it to you on instagram when I post tomorrow ? I can even tag u, this is so filmic man!!
ОтветитьWhen working in Wide Gamut is it still acceptable to use the Kodak 2383 LUT? I know its meant for a rec709 color space so it would require a 3 node setup. I'm just wondering if its mathematically sound to crush the color space and then re-expand it to get the LUT to work with the node setup bellow.
1st Node - CST coverting WG to rec709/cineon
2nd Node - Apply Kodak 2383 LUT
3rd Node - CST converting rec709 back to WG
Name of the song in the intro?
ОтветитьWhere can I buy your luts?
ОтветитьAmazing! Thanks for that!
ОтветитьI watch every video with interest and learn the most from your videos. I'm interested to see how things work with low quality videos, for example a video from MavicPro 1 or a GoPro, I know they are not in the movie world, but it will still be an experience for us beginners to learn to color better. Thanks and good luck in the future
ОтветитьCan u tell me the movie-titles u show at the beginning? You dont put the movie scenes without a reason in your video 😊
Ответитьyou're just giving so much knowledge out just like that... amazing channel!!
may I ask: do you see a video on unrealistic (surrealistic) coloring happening soon? (I mean purple trees, red skies, yellow seas, well those would be extreme kitchy examples, just to make my question a bit more clear, but I mean anything from really subtle unrealistic tweaks to controlled yet massive changes)
Surley NR should come at the end of the pipeline so that you’re grading with as much raw details and data as possible, then just before the output CST you add the effects like NR and halation?
ОтветитьQuiero comprar el curso, hay una versión en español?
Ответитьwhy is your color wheels so big? I want that too
ОтветитьRocket science 😅😅
ОтветитьThis was a banger bro!
ОтветитьDude this is criminal that you show this for free! Dude I've learned so much from you!
ОтветитьQazi, you deserve millions subs. Im following your work here on YT for a long time. Your channel is the best ever for Color Grading, and you are straight to the point. Excellent content ! Will be taking you course soon 💪🏻!!!
ОтветитьThanks Bring More Videos Like This😊
Ответитьit helps so much that you include the commands on screen. that’s something I’d always wished for when watching this type of content. after watching you address certain things as mistakes in other videos, I realized most people that I learned from in the past demonstrated these mistakes so now I exclusively watch your videos and Jakes videos for color grading. thank you so much for this! I learned a lot 😃
