The thing abt Helix is that they were not going for very high speeds or hights. But they were going for the terrain. Also a fun fact the fastest speed in helix is not in the launches. And as one of the constructon managers said "The Helix project its not gonna be the fastest in the world its not gonna be tallest the biggest but we want it to be the best experiance. Btw Liseberg is my home park.
ОтветитьA can’t go to bak I can helix to day
Ответитьngl helix trains kinda look like a lime
ОтветитьImagine if helix had an intense acceleration spinning cars and more also I realised Mack didn’t use thick spine at that point
ОтветитьHelix believe it or not, it's based around Leveling up. Like a video game.
ОтветитьThe lock iş bad cus itsbonly for your legs and i Will feel like im in very big danger
ОтветитьI'm really confused how someone can feel uncomfortable in a Mack Rides seat. I always felt that they're the best seats ever. Especially with DC Rivals, where the rest of your body is free and you really feels those ejects and zappy twists at the same time, but not uncomfortable at any means. But maybe I have to ride more rides in that seat. Perhaps the coaster has to be built right for this seat. Perhaps, if the transitions are wrong, or too much, it might hurt? So then, we have found a limit, perhaps the speed that DC Rivals whips you around is the limit of feeling free while being comfortable, but not yet feeling pain, because you're only fixed at your waist and the rest is able to move freely.
Ответитьdude you can literally feel the force when the ride accelerates duh
ОтветитьI think you should ride this one more time but now, beacuse its faster and better now! Ive ridden it this year and read a little about it and its much faster now! (In my opinion it very good!)
ОтветитьThe queue “room” is designed to take a lot of people (the ride itself takes around 1350 people per hour and that’s when it has 2/3 carts out, and that’s what they usually have) and the line waiting time is almost every day around 80 minutes. So the queue “room” is more practical then trying to have a theme.
ОтветитьThe fact yesterday i Was at liseberg and finally went on helix i was so proud of myself lol-
Ответитьits a dragon
ОтветитьNot every ride can be kingda ka😂as soon as you Google the ride one of the first things you see is the launchers are just boosters to allow it to complete the course
ОтветитьI live near Liseberg
ОтветитьThe soundtrack. The soundtrack.
Ответитьbut helix doesn't go 62 mph. more like 100 mph right.
ОтветитьThis kids hard to please. Possibly raised with everything he ever wanted. Pampered baby.
ОтветитьOutlaw run is rough as guts and short and he gives that a 9. I think this guy has something against Mack. Outlaw Run is fantastic and super fast like it is out of control, but it is way rougher than Helix.. so I am not sure what he's on LOL.
I am saying this for anyone wondering, the trip to Liseberg for Helix is worth it. It's a 9.5 out of 10.
Helix is not about its launches.. It is about NOT having lift hills and brakes, and being precisely taken to the correct speed to negotiate the track perfectly, with airtime and good negative and positive forces. The fact that you rated the much more average copperhead strike just as highly, means your opinion on Helix is completely invalidated. I like a good strong launch as much as the next guy, but you are not focusing enough on the masterful layout and that the launches are in this ride for utilitarian purposes only. If they went faster the layout would be taken too fast and trimmed all over the place. Do you want that? The only alteration that could be made is that they get to whatever the final speed is, faster. So a more powerful launch but definitely not to a higher speed.
I have rarely seen such masterful pacing on a long layout like Mack has achieved with Helix. Only RMC can challenge it for pacing and layout.
Helix is still my number 1 - I'll never forget the night rides in the snow ❄
ОтветитьI have riden Helix and i think that they not do the launches faster becaous the G-forces that the ride allredy has witch is 4,3-G.
ОтветитьLiseberg has a large amount of space, that is why the roller coasters are so far away from each other
ОтветитьI was in the queueline when it "broke down" and they paused it for a bit. so they had a type of swedish quiz in the speakers and one of the questions was "what theme is helix" and evereone yelled turtle, alien, crocodile. But they said the correct answer was video games.
Ответитьbruh i can clearly hear that you havent even been on it cause the lauches are good af
ОтветитьB&M coasters are always smooth, that’s why they’re my favorite manufacturer
ОтветитьI think that its supposed to be lizard themed
ОтветитьI was in the wrong position when the lap bars came down and it got a little curve but my man parts were where it was low and it just when full on ham on my jewls when we went over the airtime hills.
ОтветитьHelix launches are not ment to be intense.
Not to mention one of first lsm launches for mack rides
If the hulk was an intamin launched coaster
ОтветитьHot take I do not understand why parks would invest in a Mack Rides multi-launch. Granted I have only ridden Copperhead Strike, but still. They are probably THE most expensive coaster type out there (Usually costing as much or more than a B&M giga), have low capacity, weak launches, and always have comically low stats. Don't get me wrong, they are good, even great, rides- but that pricetag is just ridiculous. You could get TWO Premiere multi-launch coasters with record breaking stats for the price of just one of these. Seem like a collosal waste of money until they can get their price tag down. Now the extreme spinner model I can understand as literally nobody else offers an experience remotely close to those.
When I heard Copperhead Strike cost more than Fury 325, a HUGE giga from an also notoriously expensive manufacturer, I wanted to vomit. You are basically getting a family ride with mediocre capacity for that price. Like could someone explain the logistics of why anyone would buy a mack multi-launch?
Once again, if Copperhead Strike had costed $10 or even $12 million I would have thought it was a perfect investment.
I think the theme of the coaster has something to do with nature and electronics.
ОтветитьHelix dont really have a theme, its hard for a park to theme a ride in this size. But what Liseberg was going for is a nature style ride. For example the track is green so it can blend in the trees and bushes. Thats why everything is green, "its from nature". A video from 2012 when they announced helix at the begining it says "inspired by nature". So the shorten everythin helix theme is nature you could say
Ответить"Anticipointment." Now THAT is a great new word that I just heard.
ОтветитьYou should try Lynet and Orkanen at Fårup sommarland
ОтветитьLmao hearing Americans whinge about 'fOrceLeSs LauNcHes' when you're Australian.
Ответить"Anticipointment." When you are disappointed by something you were anticipating being great.
ОтветитьIt's kinda depressing to think the only smooth coaster at Pleasure Beach will become rough one day 😔😢
ОтветитьThe soundtrack made so nervous the first time!
ОтветитьHelix..object having a three-dimensional shape like that of a wire wound uniformly in a single layer around a cylinder or cone, as in a corkscrew or spiral staircase.
ОтветитьI got on it the first year 2014. And it was the smoothest rollercoaster I have ever road. But it’s got pretty bad and shaky
ОтветитьI've heard somewhere that the ride is (kinda) themed after the score
ОтветитьPark Attendant: "Taylor is coming to review our new coaster." Park Manager: "Oh God No....Quick.....Butter up the track! Turn up the launch pressure!"
ОтветитьStapled? Is that what happens to skinny people or anyone in general?
Ответитьit was my birthday that day
ОтветитьI'm curious, how does this kid afford to go to all these amusement parks? Are his parents super rich or something?
ОтветитьIt’s more of a hacker themed ride
ОтветитьYou should go to norway to Tusenfryd
