Any guesses on what this sold for? Give it your best shot!
What was your favorite part of today's flip?

🤷🏻‍♀️….Maybe a heat gun and a scraper?
Edit: By “original”, I thought you meant taking it back down to the wood, with period drawer pulls….🤦‍♀️

This piece demonstrates the reality of furniture stripping! The reality of what's under that paint! And the reality of a change in direction can make lemonade out what seems like a sour lemon!

Aaahhh. My heart about seized up watching you put paint stripper on wearing sandals and cut-offs.
In fact, I still haven't recovered!!
YIKES 😮

This project turned out fabulous! Just as a point of interest, I've seen some people strip some of their projects with a kind of sand blaster. I don't know how you feel about that, just flying it up the flagpole to see who salutes.

I like the new natural and stenciled look.
However, should you decide to stencil on any furniture again, I would advise you to use round bristle stenciling brushes (they are not expensive but very efficient).
By using a roller it is inevitable that a certain amount of paint gets pushed under the stencils and the result isn`t as crisp as it could be.

Excellent transformation as usual. That was definitely a labor of love. On a sidenote, I was trying to refurbish a bookshelf, painted blue. I find blue to be the worst color to try to get off of wood furniture especially if the person who originally had it used the wrong paint to paint it.

can you share how your paint / diy space is set up? I use plastic tarps and the painted items always stick to it. I feel like i do more sanding when this happens, then anything else. Should I be using canvas tarps??

How much did you actually sell it for and where did you list it for sale? I live in the south coast area close to Galveston,TX so I'm hoping prices are similar to your area. I really don't know because I've never done this before but I'm anxious to get started. I've refinished furniture many times but I never sold the pieces I've done. Any advice you are willing to share would be greatfully appreciated.
