Any guesses on what this sold for? Give it your best shot!
What was your favorite part of today's flip?
Wouldn't sanding work?
ОтветитьAté onde eu sei, não é assim que usa esse produto!
ОтветитьLove it🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьOmg, I didn't think it was going to come together. It is truly beautiful!!❤
ОтветитьShame to contribute to environmental ruin with all that Saran Wrap.
ОтветитьSo pretty! Would look so nice in an a entry way.
ОтветитьDid you test the paint to see if it was lead?
ОтветитьThat was hard work, looks great 😊
Ответитьmaybe the old paint was on there for 50 years
ОтветитьThank u so much. I have a piece very similar to this but in flat black paint with cast iron knobs. U have inspired me to get back to it..❤
Ответить🤷🏻♀️….Maybe a heat gun and a scraper?
Edit: By “original”, I thought you meant taking it back down to the wood, with period drawer pulls….🤦♀️
This piece turned out beautiful 🎉
ОтветитьLooks like a lot of hard work, but you did awesome!
ОтветитьLooks great
ОтветитьWhy don’t you use a workbench so you don’t have to been down so much
ОтветитьIt looks great 👍 👌 ❤❤
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьSooo, why can’t you just prime and paint it? I’m a rookie. Love the project and how u document your process.Thank you.
ОтветитьThat was pretty creative nice job.
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьIt turned out beautiful. You do nice work.
ОтветитьAbsolutely bee you tee full
ОтветитьVery nice feet.
ОтветитьThis piece demonstrates the reality of furniture stripping! The reality of what's under that paint! And the reality of a change in direction can make lemonade out what seems like a sour lemon!
ОтветитьAaahhh. My heart about seized up watching you put paint stripper on wearing sandals and cut-offs.
In fact, I still haven't recovered!!
YIKES 😮
This project turned out fabulous! Just as a point of interest, I've seen some people strip some of their projects with a kind of sand blaster. I don't know how you feel about that, just flying it up the flagpole to see who salutes.
ОтветитьWow that turned out super gorgeous!
ОтветитьI like the new natural and stenciled look.
However, should you decide to stencil on any furniture again, I would advise you to use round bristle stenciling brushes (they are not expensive but very efficient).
By using a roller it is inevitable that a certain amount of paint gets pushed under the stencils and the result isn`t as crisp as it could be.
I loved it! ❤
ОтветитьExcellent transformation as usual. That was definitely a labor of love. On a sidenote, I was trying to refurbish a bookshelf, painted blue. I find blue to be the worst color to try to get off of wood furniture especially if the person who originally had it used the wrong paint to paint it.
Ответить1:10 pm. Recommend wearing shoes s flip flops when applying stripper.
ОтветитьA perfect piece of furniture which exudes beauty and class you really did a great job
ОтветитьReally nice !
ОтветитьLOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!
ОтветитьNo. NO PAINT!
Ответить❤❤❤ It's just beautiful - perfekt transformation.👍👍
ОтветитьVery pretty
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьWhy didn’t you clean up the sides of drawers near front edge?
ОтветитьLove this!! So natural and light :)
ОтветитьI love seeing the beautiful wood grain!
Thank you for not painting it white like others do!
Awesome job!!! Lovely!!!
This is the most beautiful dresser I have ever seen! I would love to see a companion piece in the same style. Breathtaking! 💕🥰
Ответитьcan you share how your paint / diy space is set up? I use plastic tarps and the painted items always stick to it. I feel like i do more sanding when this happens, then anything else. Should I be using canvas tarps??
ОтветитьHow much did you actually sell it for and where did you list it for sale? I live in the south coast area close to Galveston,TX so I'm hoping prices are similar to your area. I really don't know because I've never done this before but I'm anxious to get started. I've refinished furniture many times but I never sold the pieces I've done. Any advice you are willing to share would be greatfully appreciated.
ОтветитьYou absolutely need to protect yourself when using stripper. -- so why are you wearing shorts
Ответитьlindo las transformaciones del mueble pero
ОтветитьSo cute!
ОтветитьSo beautiful!
ОтветитьWell done.
