This comment section: GLASSES MAN BAD,I DON'T WANT TO LOOK AT THE BLOOD SHED DUE TO CAPITALISM
Me: I wonder if he's going to mention Haymarket.
No one but locals know in Logan’s squares Congress.
ОтветитьWas doing ok till "white racism" became Chicago's downfall.........wtf LOL.
ОтветитьThat guy is using racism to push his socialist ideas
ОтветитьBill Savage looks like Eric Clapton's twin brother
ОтветитьI think everywhere in Chicago is haunted even the C.P.D
ОтветитьMaybe some rich people moved to Marina City because it was convenient, safe, "groovy," and they happened to be able to afford it... doesn't necessarily make them racists. And I can tell you that people of all colors will move out of neighborhoods where crime increases, if they can afford to do it. Don't get me wrong. There was white racism, and it was certainly as bad as black racisim in parts (though manifested differently). But "white flight," which may have existed to some extent, may have simply been "sell-and-get-out-while-you-still-can." And those who worked in the Loop and had enough money may have simply found Marina City to be a logical place to move.
ОтветитьHad a experience at the Chicago congress hotel. This was many years ago.. I encountered a very flirty male spiritual presence there. I went there to attend a church service held by a visiting pastor in one of the banquet rooms.. after the church service was over..I left and walked into a empty lobby area with a open bar. I sat at the bar for a minute..It was empty at the time..A Man I could not see..I only heard his voice made a pass at me.. I heard the hotel was haunted a while later..I was in the Bar area alone.. There was no bartender..or People in that area but me... My feet hurt a little so I was there to rest up for a minute..
ОтветитьLeave it to academia to even take something as haunting phenomenon and turn it into communistic social justice BS
ОтветитьCAN ANYONE SAY HOMELESS GHOST?
ОтветитьSuprised they never mentioned the Drake hotel
Ответить"White flight due to White racism" - politically correct basically means insane
ОтветитьThe Eastland was not a boat that's like calling a warehouse a shack.
ОтветитьBill Savage seemingly has to work in a woke angle to every story. Is he now on Mayor Lightfoot's crew?
ОтветитьGreat Chicago video! I really like how the guy with the white-shirt/glasses keeps laying out heavier themes to the haunted places. Spot-on.
ОтветитьBill Savage - That guy who just has to work in an angle about race or class in stories about ghosts.
ОтветитьI live in Chicago👁👄👁
Ответитьgn i went to glessner house in 3rd grade for a field trip, no wonder there was sm noises when there was no one there
ОтветитьSeems more like half woke propaganda being projected onto what would otherwise been an interesting topic. I bet Chicago is now teeming with pregnant male ghosts demanding reparations
ОтветитьBill Savage completely ruined the video with his constant social justice angle. Though the guy with the leather jacket was great but over all the video is getting a thumbs down.
ОтветитьAnybody know what hard rock venue was before 1996?
ОтветитьWhos that guy crying racism every chance he gets? Get rid of him.
ОтветитьI live in Chicago
ОтветитьYou missed the Mayor's Office been haunted by Beetlejuice.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьI had a room in marina towers for years. Not only did very disturbing things happen inside room but also things flying around outside
ОтветитьWoke dude hates himself. LOL
ОтветитьTbe only thing that Chicagoians should be haunted by are it's majors and the 1st ward. Please stop trying to make a buck and cover Chicago real scariest places like Counselors Row.
ОтветитьIsn't the Congress Plaza Hotel also connected with Al Capone ?
ОтветитьMy grandma went to school with lester fisher
ОтветитьBro I’m just tryna see some haunted places can this guy stfu about racism and political bullshit
Ответитьooo
Ответитьchicago have a lot of ghost then all the innocent ppl and gangbangers from 1929-2024
Ответитьcould you do a series of segments on Haunted Chicago?
the Drake Hotel
Old Saint Michaels catholic church
The Water Tower
The basement at the Post office
Holy Name Cathedral
The Hull house
I decided to start taking a walk around my neighborhood for exercise. Stumbled upon Lincoln Park and felt a chill go down my back. Then I could tell spirits where trying to communicate with me. I sat on the grass by the tree and tears started to roll down my face because I could really feel the spirits trying to make contact with me. I wasn't scared. I welcomed them. Unbeknowst to me, The Couch tomb was a few feet from me. So now when I take my walks, I go by there and talk to the spirits and let them know I can feel them.
Ответить"But ma racism and inequality" that one dude! What an ass. Bet he lives in a nice house in the burbs.
ОтветитьAs a lifelong Chicagoan it surprises me how the Fort Dearborn Massacre is hardly mention in this town.
ОтветитьExcellent editing! This plays out like an SNL skit. The serious tone of the ghost haunting expert vs the historian. I had a good laugh.
ОтветитьWas interesting except for the 'professor', who keeps butting in & definitely keeps the eye-rolling going with his constant & predictable social justice lecturing about hot button issues like 'racial marginalized violence', fight for $15(income inequality), white flight & white racism, etc... I was surprised he didn't have some finger-wagging to do about maybe 'indigenous-focused racism & violence' when the Dearborn massacre was brought up....Seriously, why was he even included in this video? He literally adds zero to the subject & listening to him makes me so glad that I'm no longer in college & makes me feel sorry for those that have to sit through hour after hour of his lectures as a captive audience.
ОтветитьOh my God, I live next to one of those buildings
ОтветитьAre used to go to Lincoln Park all the time
ОтветитьWhite racism ya cuz white gangs are killing each other give me a break
ОтветитьWhite Flight is not Racism, Crime is Real and nobody want's to be carjacked , I won't go Downtown.
Ответить"White flight due to white racism". That's the moment I stopped watching.
ОтветитьHad no idea the Pick Congress was haunted. They had a great coffee shop at one time. Fort Dearborn was miles from Prairie Avenue at the mouth of the Chicago River. Dude know your facts.
ОтветитьWhen you click a video like this you expect some supernatural stuff not a heavy dose of white guilt.
ОтветитьThe guy in the white ruined the video, go watch CNN with your mask on
ОтветитьOh yeah racist ghosts
ОтветитьWatching this in 2024 the screams heard at Oprah’s studio were probably real noises from real people unfortunately
Ответить
