I like your teaching style
ОтветитьIs it possible to add a read only user group and allow the user to have a weak password or no password at all? So young children and house guests can access a folder with family photo highlights only and zero access to the rest of the NAS? Tried to set it up Synology wouldn't allow a weak password thought I might be missing something.
ОтветитьThanks very helpful Video also Subscribed
ОтветитьGreat video on adding users. Best so far, however, I do have a question: It doesn't appear that users does not have the Photos/File/ Music folder by default. Does that appear once you install the apps or do you add them manually for each user?
ОтветитьBest explanation so far out there.
ОтветитьThank You mate...
ОтветитьHigh, great video's! You spoke you are going to make a video concerning the app's etc. Where can I find them or when will you publish this next video. Kind regards. Keep up the good work :-)
ОтветитьOf all the Synology 220+ videos your videos were the best for me! Thanks!
ОтветитьSo where are all these app configurations and data stored? e.g. Moments db? How would I back that up in case I lose my drives? On an external drive? Can that be backed up continuously to thee cloud?
Ответитьlove your videos. what app do I need if I want to make a local folder on my computer to be auto backup to the nas?
Ответитьgreat collection of NAS vids. Appreciate it. Just got my hands on a 720+ and your videos have been very helpful. Cheers.
ОтветитьGreat video and info. Question: I set up my DS718+ with all my files. I recently tried to open a new Team folder on my app but I couldn't. So then I logged into file station on my NAS and was able to create a new folder on my mac. When I checked my app, my new folder I created was not listed and I checked my Synology Drive app and its also not listed either. I'm not sure what to do next. What do you advise?
ОтветитьExfat purchase linked to account or NAS?
ОтветитьGreat video 👍
ОтветитьIs it worth waiting for the next generation of Synology or QNAP NAS devices ? I'm nearly tapped out on my external hard drives and need to make space.
I want to purchase a 4 bay, but given that new versions are coming out in Q3 2020, wondering if its worth waiting or not.
Excellent video as usual
