It's a neat toy. It's certainly not a viable guitar substitute. And it's definitely not worth $450. For beginners...just buy a $150 guitar.

I found this piece of crap in an Instagram AD, and reading the comments I got here. Just from their ads alone, I could see they weren't even using the toy's audio on their videos... Like, there were some bendings and other stuff, and in the comments they said "it doesn't support bending yet, maybe in the next version", and in the SAME FUCKIN VIDEO, they said "it is the original audio, it was recorded without any editing or effects"

This video has succeeded in something for me, and that's subbing to your channel.

I'm not sure this fulfils any use cases, really. If you cant push down on steel strings you can always try a nylon string classical, or a ukelele, or if pushing strings is a problem and you just want some chorda you could get an autoharp.

What really surprised me is someone actually believed that “thing” was a good idea.

As an ex guitar player who now has arthritis, I can tell you that this would not help at all. The problem with arthritis is bending the fingers, not pressing down on the strings. Silicone strings would make no difference whatsoever.

Maybe one day this technology will work pretty well but i'ts not today
