Dom it’s always a pleasure to see your instructional videos. You get to the point fast, extremely understandable and very positive and friendly. Thank you. Chris.
Ответитьgreat
ОтветитьWow!😮
ОтветитьThanks very much for making excellent video tutorial for person like me who is new to music production. please make a video for how to setup color setup in Cubase 13 pro. your color arrangements are so beautiful , really , I love it .which i am not able to create myself. its my humble request to create a link which from which we can take benefit. Thanks very much again.
ОтветитьVery well done. Thankyou so much!
Ответитьmagic, incredible, perfect, wonderfullnessism !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьNAWCE!!!
ОтветитьAt the time you apply the magic advanced trick I’m used to “render in place” all tracks and continue with the newly rendered tracks. This I do because I didn’t know of the magic trick you described. Another thing learned. Thanks Dom!
Ответитьjust wow!!
ОтветитьIs there a key command to do it like inserting a marker with a Korg Nanokontrol? I would really appreciate a shortcut.
ОтветитьAmazing - I was trying to figure this out for hours.... so helpful but for some reason I dont have the ability to select warp grid musical events follow. Must be missing something?
Ответитьfinally I got this and already had to use it...I always wondered what that feature is lol
ОтветитьGreat stuff ! thank you Dom. What is the difference between doing it as "set definition to tempo" and "bounce selection". Also, If you have a variable tempo that you have mapped and you want to add chords or midi but you want it to follow it the variable tempo, whould that be possible by leaving the variable tempo mapping on ?
ОтветитьLOOOVE this video! Exactly the function I need, as I start every song with a vocal track, where I will snap my fingers for the beat, and lots of breaks and changes in the beat .
ОтветитьI recently been working on some old demos from the 90's originally on ADAT tapes. I spent some time mapping the tempo as described as the songs were played without a click. Mapping the tempo is easy enough, however, once completing the Set Definition from Tempo step and the audio is stretched, it sounds noticeably worse. I tried several different algorithms and they all destroy the audio, some worse the others. You can A/B between the two using Undo History and the difference is shocking.
So, a warning to anyone out there considering this. Make sure you listen to your audio file(s) before and after they're stretched. This is not a solution for a full multitrack session it seems. At least if you desired the audio files to not sound worse. Which isn't surprising I guess, but perhaps they're is something I'm missing?
Thank you for this🎉 Would this work on Vocals as well?
ОтветитьCan I do that (the mapping) on a freely played MIDI part?
ОтветитьVery useful!!!! Thanks!
ОтветитьThx a lot Dom!
ОтветитьThanks for that! Question for you. I did everything you did, except I used tempo detection instead of doing it manually. As a result, after doing "set definition from tempo" and deleting the key points it hasn't straighten it. Is it because it absolutely needs to be done manually in order to work?
Thank you
Hi FROM ITALY... a specific question...: I have an audio (or even midi) project at 66 bpm I have to insert a guitar solo that starts at 66 bpm for 4 measures and then doubles to 132 bm for another 4. I inserted the tempo track highlighting only those 8 measures are fine except that after the general tracks they are staggered...! What's wrong?! Thank you
ОтветитьIf you only want to correct tempo of a portion of a project (say there are 10 measures you want to be free form) can you just put the first downbeat at a later point (measure 10)? Have a complex project with a freeform intro, and then it goes to 8/8 time and the tempo needs to be tamed. Ideas?
ОтветитьAwsome video Dom! This was just the thing i was looking for. Thank you for sharing your experiance
ОтветитьAmazing
Ответитьtthank you very much for the very sharp details I am really happy with result I wish you all the best dog 🌹🙏🌹
ОтветитьWhich Cubase version is required to do this? Thanks. Great video
ОтветитьPlease Dom nice video, but I have a problem, after I'm done with project close cubase and when I opened the project again the project speeds up in tempo even vocals sounds like a chipmunk 🐿️ please what do I do
ОтветитьDon... You are the Qbest
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьDude thank you as always... best Cubase resource IMO
ОтветитьThank you Dom ! this is save my life !
ОтветитьThank you so much for this I was about to have a breakdown. This totally solved my problem.
Ответитьgreat video! Thank you so very much.
ОтветитьWHOOOAAAA
ОтветитьPhantastic! did'nt knew this combination of time grid and time warp. Thank you so much for this!
ОтветитьThose Videos are so exciting stuff. Thanks a lot, Dom. You’re the man
ОтветитьSo Ussssssssefull ! I use digitech trio pedal and it's always difficult to find the good tempo. Thanks !
ОтветитьDom you are the best thanks
Ответитьthanks. awesome info. I've tapped in the tempo from keyboard and created a tempo from that midi track. The only trick was it wouldn't map the tempo until I exported the midi track then re-imported it. Weird quirk.
ОтветитьI reviewed this video 4 months later to remember how to do this process. Great, fantastic. Thanks again.
ОтветитьCooooool ! Let's go !
ОтветитьIt once agian shows how important it is to acquaint with your DAW!
ОтветитьAmazing!
ОтветитьToo cool! Thanks!!😊
ОтветитьOops! That the coolest tip I ever heard. Thanks Dom.
ОтветитьMany thanks Dom. A quick question - if I've just recorded something played freely on an instrument track (in MIDI format), my guess is that I should bounce it first before using the warp tool. Is that correct? Cheers from Sydney, David
ОтветитьThank you, this is for me the most valuable video about tempo mapping in Cubase.
ОтветитьYou made this a little simple'r to understand than Greg O
ОтветитьLove your videos, Dom. In your example, it is easy to line up the audio transient with the measure. In the file, I am working with, it is not so easy. Is there a scrub tool in Cubase to fine that exact downbeat? Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat stuff, very very useful!!!
