Something I am not liking a out modern cases is that most of them can only fit two HDD's. Not saying that's a bad thing, it just doesn't work for me and my 4 HDDs.

The one case I have found fits all 4 is the CoolerMaster NR600. It seems I will either have to buy bigger HDDs (I have 2 X 1TB and 2 X 2TB) or replace them with SSDs.

The PC case is the only thing that you will never have to replace, get a good one that will last a lifetime, like a Phanteks NV 7, my old budged case with 4 rgb fans ,which is 6 months old, couldnt fit my new card unless i got rid of one of the fans...now its not a big deal for me...i kinda disliked the case after a while anyway because the ports are all over the place, it drove me mad...so i am happy to replace it with a case that nearly costs as much as a midtier gpu, if you buy the vents for the case as well.

Get a big boy guys, it will fit any future gpu because its so big and you dont have to make excuses to get a weaker GPU that will fit a small case.

And take care of your case if you take a white one, like clean it every 6 months at least or its gonna lose its shiny white look.

How loud does this metal cage rattle? I don't see a vibration damper in it.

I bought this case based on this video and I am absolutely ecstatic about it! Moving from a Phanteks pre-built style box, that was probably a little more geared towards water cooling, I saw air cooling temps drop across the board by an avg of 10-15c! Everything about this case screams quality and attention to detail and for $100usd, it puts many of the $200 cases to shame, in every category.

The fan layout is really great. 2x 160mm is really good practise.
I just wish case manufacturers would add ducting for the GPU & CPU to improve temps even further.

Hey man great video, not sure if you'll respond but I'd love to know your opinion on which is better this Lian Li 216 or the Lancool Mesh 2 ? Right now they're the same price for me and they're both amazing cases it seems.

Well if Steve likes it, it must be pretty good. Steve hates every piece of hardware except this one.

I agree on not overspending on PC cases... but frankly, I'd have to be building something very new/high end before I'd even consider spending more than the bare minimum (meaning any old case I can get for free).

I might start modding (old office) cases if I have to... >_>

Lancool 216 is not bad at 105 USD. There is much worse as far as prices go. I think thet a typical case should not cast more than 75 USD. It's just a steel box (maybe) with 2 switches and 2 indicator LEDs. Fans should be sold separately. They will also eff you over with S&H. The Fractal Design Focus G I ordered was 54.99 USD and the SHIPPING FEE was 13.99. I needed a case with 2 5.25" bays and that was the most decent thing I could find that was not 120 USD plus. What white coller clown thought of these prices and what are they smoking?

I'm totally over spending on a case. Having said that I watched a lot of your videos first and I didn't go in blind, I actively chose to overpay because it all just looks so cool together. Plus it's the most I've ever spent all up on a build personally so I splashed a bit. Thanks for your content dude.

I just got this case I'm a beginner trying to look how to learn this new case and stuff I'm glad it's a good case sad that my PC components don't utilize all the features of the case but I'm slowly upgrading as I get money PCs are very expensive

Instead of 100$ for it i spent 25$ on case and 75$ more for the gpu

I just bought this case to build my new "mid-end" system.. upgraded from a i5 7500, 16GB 3000mhz DDR4 (corsair), GTX 1080ti (founders edition) to a i5 12600K, 32GB 4800mhz DDR5 (Kingston Fury), RTX 4070 Gaming OC (GigaByte) all running on a GIGABYTE B760 GAMING X motherboard :). I left the 160 fans in and also the 140 at the back, added a 140 on the bottom as intake (maybe add a second one later on) and also added a 360 Lian Li Galahad AIO on top set to exhaust.
System is working great! Temps are idle around 30 degrees celsius, so that's good I think... (my old systems cpu was idle at around 45-50 degrees, so I am basing it on that)

What about montech x1 mesh?

expensive ones are convenient though, and last like forever

I just bought the black RGB version and couldn't have been happier. Fantastic case to build in and comparing it to the H510 I was using previously, it destoys it when it comes to cooling the GPU.

Doing 1st build having trouble with connecting fans from that added fan controller how do i get them all to work how do i daisy chain them and how do i get Usb to work when my mother board only haves one socket for that

And here's me, having just bought and transferred my system into an Asus Helios case lol..Had to get their PSU too...to take advantage of the little PSU window in the case.

I got this exact case at the beginning of June and it's been fantastic. I wish the rear fan was also RGB and I'll end up replacing it. The controller is a bit weak, at least for my limited understanding. The front fans just mirror each other and I don't know if it's possible to add LEDs to the count and have them separately controlled. Usually I run just white static but for starlight etc I would like them to be a bit different in the routine, would look more organic. I'm an ARGB n00b tho. Last PC I built was in the core ix-2yyy era
