UiPath Data Scraping (Web Page to Excel) - Tutorial

Hi Andres, This was very helpful. I need your help with a step further to this, How can we update each page's details into multiple sheets (say page 1, page 2, page 3, etc) in excel instead of scarping all page data into a single sheet?

Thanks for sharing this tutorial and it is impressive for me about the function of UiPath. But I can't find "Data Scraping" button on my UiPath Studio. Could it be a different version issue?

I found this useful but I would be grateful if you can help me with one use case.
Step 1: Open browser and loop through given rows of a column in excel sheet
Step 2: scrape the data(for example name and mail id)
Step 3: Write to a different sheet or the same but I want the corresponding (existing)records against the scrapped columns. Suppose I have product category mentioned in the excel sheet, and I scrapped multiple product subcategories and cost values against a single category.
Could you please help me with this...???

I have a weird problem where what is scraped by the wizard, does not tie up to the actual aaname (there's a few extra spaces). Consequently when I try to dynamically click through each on one, it does not click as it's not a 100% match. I've looked at using Fuzzy data but would prefer to get to the bottom as to how i can overcome this.
I did remove all spaces from the variable and all spaces from items in the datatable, but when running, it was still trying to find the actual aa name which has the extra spaces at the end.

Hey bro! Instead of going to the next page I want to select by the page number like 12345678...etc
Because the site which I'm using for data scraping is having that kind of feature only...there is no next button...so in this case how can I do the data scraping bro ?

Hi, Your video is really amazing but i am facing an issue. i am creating a bot just like you have explained above but the difference is i need to take reviews against every new order placed in an excel sheet. My process which i have developed after learning from u througjh this video is just giving results agains one single order. it does not give any data when bot puts new order and go to new order's relevant page. Note: the format of all the reviews against different orders is same. Please help me its urgent

How can we extract data from only specified number of pages? For example we have results spanning across 50 pages but we only want to scrap the data from 9th to 20th page.

How can i get the text values If I have a column of icon in the whole table that only shows when i mouse over it?

Hey Anders, Good day to you, This is Richard, i am continuously watching your session, just need you expertise for some project that we need to provide with Event Viewer. Step1 Type in the Event Viewer on the search tab, press enter Step 2: Double click Windows logs and click Application. Step 3 is the critical part that i cannot figure out. Client wants me to only get the "Error" without using the Filter logs. they want me to get the data for all Error for "Date and time", "Source" , "Event ID" and the message in "General" automatically save it to Excel file. what function in UI path do i need to use? filtering the log for error will have more or less 2899 datas that need to be extracted.can i use web scrapping with while loop and event exists. to repeat the action of each error and continue to paste it and save to excel the description of the error.

thanks for the tutorial, but the loop i created not able to go next page, it went to 2nd page then back to 1st page again, and its keep looping within pages1 and 2. My data have total 47 pages, your advise please.
