Popenker's sense of humor is absolutely adorable. "5.45x18 Suicide Special". There's no way I'm calling that any other way now.
Ответитьwhat is the 7n21 bullet length?
ОтветитьIt would be great to see how Ian shoots from an ADS (underwater assault rifle). But we know that this is impossible.
ОтветитьPretty big deal that they were so worried about officers ending their lives
ОтветитьAs whole Russian weapons are world no 1 because in Pakistan we use mostly
ОтветитьI did not pay attention two years ago. Probably the primer the GSh 18 must smash is much harder than primers employed on regular 9x19, so, it needs a stronger firing pin spring, wich is possible just because its firing pin spring forces the frame to the rear, not the slide, like almost all Glock inspired moder striker fired pistols. Since its firing pin spring don´t struggle agisnt recoil spring, it can be tweaked to strike the primer like any hammer or striker fired pistol.
ОтветитьA very interesting guy, with a sense of fun too. My kind o' thing.
Ответить"It's only good for suicide" Nice one lol
ОтветитьI know this is an older video. I am wondering the 9x21 Gyurza round which from what is said is the most powerful runs used in there SPS PISTOL. My question Is what type of body armour can this pierce and what body armour can stop it?
ОтветитьOne can lead from here into a discussion of plastic rounds and rubber bullets as a substitute for constitutional infringements - as potentially non-lethal cartridges never seem to be adressed and therefore are little known.
ОтветитьI like OTs-27 pistol.
ОтветитьVery informative and nice presentation. But what I dont understand is this new obession with drinking. On TV, on meetings, they all the time have to drink. WTF, is it so hard to sit half an hour without continuously pouring some liquid into yourself?
ОтветитьAlways love when Ian has Max on the channel, such a wealth of knowledge on Russian firearm design that is often underappreciated or underrepresented in the west. Max is a great long form speaker and I find his talks very interesting and informative with some nice black humor thrown in. Well done to Max also on his English skills. Thanks to you both for making these videos happen they are such a fantastic resource for those interested in Russian firearm's. Cheers.
ОтветитьIan you have found a treasure of valuable informations on arms n ammunition. It will be a great opportunity for all us if you meet him in person n make the same video once gain. Thanks
ОтветитьMax is so knowledgeable.
However, he needs a better internet connection, better camera and microphone, better lighting AND definitely a script writer.
Is his book out in America?
ОтветитьWhy has Russia never made the 7.62x25 neck down to 5.45 ? I think 5.45 x25 would be sooooo cool to see like 5.7x28 FN
ОтветитьVery Interesting, I did not know about many of those Russian AP cartridges.
Hope to see Max again!
Like always..😂😂the Russians copy german Guns and Technology..🤔🇩🇪🇷🇺
ОтветитьCan own handgun ammo but not the handgun itself Russia is weird
ОтветитьGreat team work!
ОтветитьGive us another podcast on the history and variations of the 5.45x39 cartridge?
ОтветитьThe fun fact is that at military trials after which the Nagant revolver and the cartridge to it were accepted, there was a requirement that sounded something like "a weapon should stop a running horse with the first shot"
ОтветитьI’d like to know more about that she hit bee hitch platform about which he was speaking.
ОтветитьNearly 2000 fps out of a 5 inch barrel is terrifying.
Ответитьwas anyone else surprised when they learned that 7.62x39 doesnt actually use a 7.62 bullet?
ОтветитьOh how I wish I could buy this ammo
ОтветитьI screwed up & bought a box of New Winchester 124g 9X21mm.. Price was low but don't need..
ОтветитьWatching a man who gets excited about guns fight sleep for 36 minutes... You fan boys can stroke to this. Not my cup of tea.
ОтветитьSo why was the 7n29(9x21) prefferd than 7n3.The later has better performace and a widely use, as itvas 9x18?
ОтветитьDoesn't the 7.63 mauser has actually more stopping power than the 9mm?
ОтветитьI’ll buy the book
ОтветитьAnother Max Popenker book! Count me in! I have read my copy of the assault rifle book numerous times.
Ответитьhe need to elaborate more on "suicide special" officer's pistol, they literally developed an entirely new pistol round for it
ОтветитьYou ought to put the quote " You can cheat tax laws and you can cheat traffic laws, but you can't cheat Newton laws" on a tee shirt. I think thats a new favorite quote.
ОтветитьThese are always an absolute joy to watch(listen to) while doing many other things. Please keep them coming!
ОтветитьI like that show the Russian gust is really nice
ОтветитьInteresting information. Good presentation by the guest speaker. My compliments.
ОтветитьIan, you and Max are both extremely well versed in your knowledge of firearms and ammunition. You both are also extremely nice people to deal with. It is a real joy to just sit and learn from your videos. Please keep up the good work!
ОтветитьСпасибо за видео, коммент для продвижения канала
ОтветитьGreat history on Russian pistols
ОтветитьWestern Gun Jesus meets Eastern Gun Jesus. XD Great vid.
ОтветитьThis was truthly amazing to watch.
ОтветитьHmm, I wonder how well the FK Brno PSD would be at handling these loads. The numbers are really close.
Ответить"New york trigger glock" lmaooo
ОтветитьIn italy the 9x19mm round is banned because considered a war caliber so we use the 9x21, it's usless it let the ammo cost more, and let us outside from international competitions
ОтветитьDo you all understand that a Russian citizen cannot go to the local gun store and pick up a hand gun? You cannot own a hand gun in Russia, only a smooth bore shot gun with a permit, in other words you can only commit suicide with a hand gun if you are in the military. Russia can sell their guns to the rest of the world, but not their own citizens.
Ответитьспасибо товарищ!
ОтветитьThis dude sounds exactly like Skyships
