I'm really curious to know how your settings are holding up once you reach Last Light Inn and beyond - are you still maintaining constant frame rates over 100 or are you seeing some pretty significant dips in FPS. My experience (with a 4090) is that Act 1 doesn't have issues, but definitely trying to find the right settings to keep it from dropping below 60 fps in areas in Act 2 and 3

the difference between high and ultra isnt big in this game

Hey guys, i just built a PC with a 4090fe snd i9 13900kf and expected good results at 4k max settings with uncapped frame rate. This is running off a 2tb nvme.

Unfortunately the game wildly fluctuates from 80fps to 180fps. Weirdly if I cap the frame rate at 60 it can't hold that frame rate at all and goes from 40 to 55ish fps.

Does anyone know why that could be ?? Just built the pc so kinda nooby. Power settings etc are optimised, so is my 32gb ram

noob/uber-casual gamer here... I don't play games like cyberpunk/COD. Is a 4080 good enough to achieve something like this on a 4k monitor? Also, any recommendations on cpu (intel?). thx!

You should definitely give DX11 a go. W/ new hardware, should perform better than Vulkan.

Finished downloading last night! Excited to start tonight. I'm glad they gave the option to disable nudity.

Lot's of social controversy on the matter, but I for one am glad for the option to not have to worry about seeing what one doesn't wish to see.

I think this video showed me that me wanting a 4090 is just pure overkill. Even the 4080 and the 7900 xtx are overkill. Unless you want to play some experimental ray tracing in cyberpunk or some other super heavy titles i'm just spending money on frames i don't care for. 150fps lol.

From the tests i've seen, Direct X 11 actually performs better than Vulkan in this game. Believei t was something like 7% difference.
