Breakpoint feels dull, wildlands feels lively

I got Breakpoint when it was released but never got round to playing it until a few months ago after The Division 2 started drying up.

Thoroughly enjoying Breakpoint.

Played the beta to Wildlands years ago, didn’t enjoy it at all and will probably never get the full game.

Levelling up the skill tree in Breakpoint takes no time at all but the weapon mastery takes a ridiculous amount of time/XP.

After watching your video, I purchased "Wild lands" almost immediately! And OMG, my feeling is "shouldn't Wild Lands be the 2022 version?" Breakpoint is like a 2019 version to me now! O like Wild lands much better, honestly! Thanks for your tips!

If breakpoint was offline and you could wear to ghillie suit and a helmet that would be great

Playing wild lands again after breakpoint and the world is much more better compared to the island arura the dialogue in wild lands is more in depth

Can anyone confirm if Breakpoint will ever have an offline mode? I hate paying for something that I don't know if I'll be able to enjoy in the future if the servers shut down for any reason.

Just got Wildlands yesterday. watched some Breakpoint gameplay awhile ago. Wildlands to me still wins by a fair distance.

Why are we just not getting splinter cell anymore, it’s absolutely ridiculous to me spies vs Mercs was the best just got breakpoint it was on sale I appreciate you not giving away the storyline

Wildlands 10/10 just needs modernising and having 300 missions and 1000 hours worth of gameplay more objectives

No one really talks about this but I think the real reason I love wildlands is the weapons and orders wheel all in one allowing so many options at once I am in control of nearly everything
Emp explosions heal etc
The reason is I feel in charge with my teammates
As an example I played the new cod game and the graphics were great but it was hold my hand go here do this do that open the door. Wildlands gave me freedom to do what the hell I wanted that’s another reason I think I always go back to it. Hurry up Ubisoft get project over out 😊

Breakpoint is good but wildlands is much better.. the world feels alive in wildlands and the whole scenario is much more relateable.. for me at least

80 hrs into Breakpoint. Had to tweak a ton of settings, turn that gear crap off, but it ended up being an awesome open world Splinter Cell

Wildlands all day Breakpoint is even after all the Updates Boring - empty and not really more "modern" than Wildlands. You get like 2 Mods for Wildlands at this point on PC and the game feels Far superior Gameplay wise to breakpoint. Unless you are highly impressed by those shorts where someone lays with a ghilli suit and shoots a car with 4 AI guys barely responding. Yeah then go for breakpoint.

Wilands is vastly superior. Breakpoint is flawed, the team mates are a joke, the world is boring and empty, the buildings look plain and empty, the whole landscape is a joke compared to the awesome looking landscapes and variation in Wildlands. The addition of civilians makes Wildlands feel alive, while Breakpoint feels like a weekend camp for a bunch of guys with now wives/girlfriends who like to do paintball shooting. Constantly having to go back to base camp for all kind of things was also driving me nuts, what a dumb design decision, it turns the game into a drag.

I like wildlands better, but Breakpoint is growing on me. I also waited a couple years to pick up breakpoint due to the how bad the game was when released so I got all of the updates and extra content at once making Breakpoint feel like a complete and more polished game than it was at launch. this is typical in the industry now, release a half finished game and take a year or two to fix it to a state it should have been in when it launched.

I really dislike the skill set up in breakpoint, many of the skills or perks feel pretty useless to me. I think the skill tree was better in wildlands and I miss the rebel support options. I really like the weapon customization in Breakpoint but the upgrades and different parts seem to only have a minor effect so it feels mostly cosmetic to me which is a shame.

I also dont like having to buy any vehicle I want to use, it would have been more fun if you could also steal vehicles in the open world and take them to your garage to unlock them.

They are both third person pathetic excuses for a 'tactical shooter' after all this time they are still charging full price for this rubbish too! You gamers are the reason games are getting worse every year! Stop buying rubbish games!!!

Ι prefer better gameplay and sneaking. What to do the npcs and cars when the gameplay is just ok
Breakpoint is amazing really i play hardcore without hud and stuff and it's one of the best game experiences. Also as for the kinda empty world without to many NPCs it is explained. Only a thousand selected people live in that island because they test life there. The island is in a kind off "beta test" form

It feels like wildlands is trash compared to breakpoint

They are both great games but wildlands is just ahead for me because you could send in rebels to clear out enemy camps along with using mortars, in break point you can only release one rebel to help you which was a shame

The biggest reason a lot of people still prefer Wildlands over Breakpoint is simple, while it might be open world, it's still feels like a Ghost Recon game. Breakpoint felt like The Division and crazy enough, The Division felt more like Ghost Recon than Breakpoint did. Why are we fighting drones and weaponized tanks? I get that there's technology here that doesn't exist to the point of cloaking like in Future Solider but come on. Quite frankly, I hate the open world of Wildlands because it's been over done by Ubisoft but at least it's ok. Why can't we get a more linear mission design? These guys are supposed to go in, take out the bad guys, get the fuck out with no one the wiser. If they wanted something bigger then they could've done it as say you have 15 - 20 missions, but each is set in a location that's big and open, but it's more focused where you have to meet certain objectives of that mission not in any order but need to complete them for a final objective. Why's that so hard? Personally, just give me a remake of Future Soldier or GRAW 1 and 2 with online aspects. But nah, Ubisoft is too dumb and lazy to do that now. Hell, we can't even get a proper Splinter Cell game anymore. We don't need every tactical shooter to be open world. There can be some linear movement to it

Remastered version of wildlands is what we need.

Do i need a year pass to access episode 2 of the story in ghost recon breakpoint?

I’m new to the whole Ghost Recon community but very familiar with Ubisoft and after playing each game for around the same amount of time I have to say that they definitely put more effort into the UI and story line of Wildlands. I wouldn’t say there’s much difference in graphics but I attribute that to Ubisoft always having good graphics in their games.

Having said all of that, I find myself wanting to play Breakpoint way more than Wild lands. The gameplay feels way more rewarding and a lot more personable to your playing style. I would say okay Wild lands if you care about story lines and building relationships with the protagonist, but play Breakpoint if you care about fluidity in your gameplay.

The biggest thing with breakpoint that ruined it for me was the map and objectives it was really difficult to understand and guide my way through. Too complicated too many things flashing on the map. Next game should have an easy map simple yellow markers like wildlands
I really did try to enjoy breakpoint oh how I tried but after playing wildlands breakpoint had no weapon wheel and using drones and emp and explosions and medic for my teammates I loved disabling the alarms and generators then sending the drone up then telling my handy team mates to certain areas
I put 40 hours in wildlands I put 6 hours in breakpoint then ejected it from my x box and sold it

From 1 to 10, 10 being the best i belive wildlands is a 9, next to breakpoint that i give it an 8. Breakpoint is a much more difficult game to play.

For some reason the way nomad walks in bp like a robot bothers me so much and the fact you can’t walk around without holding your guns ercs me in wildlands you’re able to walk without guns and the way he walks seem more human like

Tbh the ONLY reason I didn’t like breakpoint is the open world , no music , no life , is what honestly killed it but if they took all the small things mixed with the idea of wild lands and good open world , I would play that game for months

I played both games and Ghost Recon Wildland is my favourite. The game is just alive and you can use civilians vehicle. As for Breakpoint I requested a chopper and was shattered into 100,000 bits because these fucking drones flew to the chopper like bees and destroyed everything so I quit playing the game and delete it permanently. That was how frustrated I was after spending 40 minutes on a dumb ass mission.

Breakpoint should’ve just been named sandstorm and be Wildlands but in the Middle East with terrorists/insurgents and PMCs (private military Contractors) they could’ve literally just copied ghost recon wildlands and add a few things and change the setting and people would’ve played the heck out of it

Wildlands in every single way

Wildlands with 3 friends gave me some of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had, an amazing open world game.

I actually played breakpoint before i started playing wildlands and to me i still think breakpoint is the better game, i don’t really care about the story in these types of games so because of breakpoints very improved animations and smoothness i prefer it. If we would have got the same animations in wildlands then that game would be much better but i just don’t like the animations in wildlans, like the character doesn’t move smooth at all and it just annoys me

Just recently started playing breakpoint and compared to wildlands the game is ass like total ass. Overly complex leveling system horrible map navigation and I completely disagree I don't think the movement feels as good I think it feels floaty and loose

I seriously dont get all the complaints, I just started playing this, this week and I am loving it. Sure there are some minor issues that should've been different like better items wheel and such, and a more live like world because it is quite dead overall, but I absolutely love the game, and I am usually not a person that even enjoys shooter games that much. Ive seen a lot of this videos now where people just complain and complain and complain, instead of enjoying it for what it is, they spend time finding what they hate about it.
