why did you waste my time?
ОтветитьDo you need a glue and tool kit separately to build item?
ОтветитьNostalgia
ОтветитьThanks for Sharing the video. Newbie here, Quick question when swaping out a 396 included in 1/25 '66 Impala kit (diy 4 door hardtop, gift for a friend as a memorial to her Dad - & their car) for the 66 Malibu 427, do I just swap out engine/trany or some of the other components as well. Thanks
/Rosemary
In my experience studying math sharpens the mind in a general way (not just a much needed skill). I am 75. I hated school. I loved learning. I was poor at math and reading (probably from refusing to do homework, and I now think I had ADHD). I knew about the math, but not the reading, before college (Baylor, Alabama, and Duke). During my college days I took Evelyn Wood speed-reading courses. It helped. I have always thought, but haven't checked it out, that something equivalent would be good for children. If a person can master (really internalize), from the get -go, math and reading skills, it make everything else a piece of cake!!! Always feel free to contact me. I wish you and yours's all the best. Merrill Craig (Danville, VA)
ОтветитьThanks for taking my criticism for what it was meant -- Constructive Best wishes, Merrill
ОтветитьRalph, I like you, I appreciate you're videos. I'm trying to help. The biggest negative thing, which you can easily correct is clean hands. Watched a vid where you said you have a 3yo son. I know you want the best for him. One of the best things you could do for him is use correct grammar. Please work on this. I wish you the best.
ОтветитьI'm only half-way through tis video (which may be good). But, you need, especially with videos like this, to be well manicured. Please get the dirt from under nails removed. I'll continue watching.
Ответить"Great to wipe your brush with" That cracked me up! Another great video!
ОтветитьHey Ralph, just wanted to let you know that I checked it out and I am ordering my pinstripes from Keith Marks for my '67 442 model (that I'm making a replica of my car)& it's all thanks to your videos that gave me the info and inspired me to get that project going! thanks once again and I'm glad I watch these videos!
ОтветитьHey Ralph... very funny about the 3 bbl. joke..why don't you use it when building a 67 GTO!(that'll get those guys going...) And btw... good video! was a good inspirational one!) Might have to start on my 67 442!
ОтветитьWhat is a 3 barrel set up?
ОтветитьWhy would you not leave parts of the tree attached to hold on to for ease of airbrushing? My 8yr old takes more care than this. My advice, snap tite for your skill level
ОтветитьAt first I was like wtf,but actually really funny, guess I'm a professional lol,I do alot of my kits like that, randomly start them,as a teen I built kits that didn't come out so good lol, again great video,I also jred to add that kit to my growing stash.
ОтветитьI've used a combination of all the techniques you've described here while building model kits! Especially in the early days - childhood - when I built them as soon as I brought them home. These days I open the box when I buy them but the build might happen years afterwards!
ОтветитьFunny🤠👍
ОтветитьAn’t that the Truth!
Lol
JC : )
🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьLoved this video. Especially when you pull out the other motor for a kit bash. Looking forward to seeing this built! Got a color choice yet?
ОтветитьI dont want too be that guy but this is not a professional way to build anything. Please tell me this is a spoof video
ОтветитьWow you had me cringing behind the chair peeking to see more like a horror movie lol. Especially on such a beloved kit (My favorite car back in the day aside from the Hemi-Cuda). I've never done any of this in this fashion but it appears to be the beginnings of the Glue Bombs I find at swap meets and online. Great video!
All this aside as long as you have fun and are happy in your building that's the most important thing. There's many ways to do things not just one as many commenters would have you believe. We need more people in the hobby and to take down the Ebay scalpers who are destroying the collectors community. Keep building have fun!
Got a good chuckle out of this one! 😳😲😆😂
Always nice to see a....professional at work!
Might have to get another one of these kits, hopefully they'll do the same fresh release of the old and tried GTX!
Keep 'em kits and builds coming Raoul! 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
Very funny how you did it that sloppy way!🤣🤣🤣Good that it one of the best fitting kits on the market and not an MPC or AMT kit of old!Love the way you mock yourself and most of us!Especially with the titel "advanced modellers"😂😋😘
ОтветитьAwesome video
Ответитьfun something different to watch . Just got a 55 chevy pickup off ebay the guy threw in just for fun I guess a 64 Impala body and a built/painted motor all good always need more random parts.
ОтветитьKinda reminds me of when I was a kid, and I would see if I could build it up before my parents put the groceries away ( " whaddaya mean, am I going to paint it?, who needs paint?" )
ОтветитьThis one is on my wish list...
Ответитьwell darn ,I dont have an exacto knife ,,,,would a fiskers or excell work untill i can get one ?
ОтветитьI think every builder has their own method of starting a build...
ОтветитьThat was damn funny Raoul 😂
And yes I've bought many a model kit part started like that!.
Just goes to show, you can have a model in pre-assembly in about 15 minutes and ready for paint!
ОтветитьLoved how you were just tossing the parts around! Just like any "professional" would do! 😂Very fun video!
ОтветитьOh man!!!! Rolling on the floor laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣, Thanks for sharing!!! All so true!!!!!!
ОтветитьWell, you said "3 barrel" and "small block". Dunce cap. Chair. Corner of the room. 😄
ОтветитьGreat job. Good video, 👍
ОтветитьI take it that is your entry into the USACC builders. LOL.
ОтветитьProfessional LMAO...
ОтветитьGreat video from you Raoul for those beginning the model building hobby. Do you think your son will want to get into the hobby when he gets older? I caught the bug when I was younger after watching my dad build models.
ОтветитьEntertaining.....
Ответитьentertaining video! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ответитьreally nice box art on the latest release of this kit IMO. Thanks also for the entertaining video!
ОтветитьPretty funny!!
I'll edit that out
I'll edit that out
Lol
Dude, you're killing it! This is so true....
ОтветитьFunny! Awesome video and thanks for sharing! 👍😎😂
ОтветитьA great fun “with my morning coffee” video! I liked the tongue-in-cheek, casual presentation showing how to get familiar and at ease with your kit. An encouraging method of diving into a first kit! Wish I’d been so relaxed with my first kit…back in 1959!
Well done ! 👍🏼
Nice video. Many modelers overlook the simple stuff in starting a kit. You hit all of those things, and, as your point out, you can do those things in a relaxed mode. Thanks for sharing.
