I performed this tune in front of the packed crowd in the Wynyard Arms public house in Billingham.
An old boyfriend and his new girlfriend sat their with faces like slapped arses as she fancied herself as a bit of a singer too.
A local lad, lead singer in his own band came over to me and said , "Good grief (or words to that effect) that song was a bit wordy wasn't it? I must say you have an interesting microphone technique though." 🙂
