WHAT IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!????
WOW!
That Artura Tube-Sta "STA empujando la voz en mi frente""!!!!!!
Great sounding and really up-way beyond-up-front...
Thank you, man!
Lord Jesus Christ loves you all, beloved <3 Seek Him within yourself and in your heart <3
Ответитьall plugins brands seem to be the same. in this day and age there isnt a plugin that automatically creates all vocal tracks with appropriate effects and ai processing?
ОтветитьThanks for your reviews...great plugs here Arturia underrated
ОтветитьThis was great bro, thank you for sharing :)
ОтветитьI knew i could trust this guy by looking at the amount of muscles he has developed by just clicking while mixing.
ОтветитьThe Summit Channel strip from Softube is a nice.
Ответитьwhat you guys think of OVERLOUD stuff, like their compressors and EQ stuff
ОтветитьI use a combination of Nectar 3 by Izotope and Titanium 3 by Acustica with either Sceptre by Wavesfactory or Slate Digital Air at the end of my chain.
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks again ❤
Ответитьwhy dont you try Kush plugins?
ОтветитьGot me some mojo for free
ОтветитьHarmony Engine! That is the secret sauce for many producers. 😃 Thanks for getting out there.
ОтветитьGreat video! Found some new things and yeah, the Arouser is so ❤️
ОтветитьWow, Finally some GPU Plugins, amazing times ! The Blue Softube Channelstrip sounds sooo analog. Concerning the Mic Emulation I use to go with the EFX mod from Antares, has a sick Tube saturation slider.
ОтветитьI liked Tube Sta and Arousor. I already have Soothe2, but that's a good Pro Tip, Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks! Wow, been using Soothe2 for sometime I didnt think to mix in some dry signal...that tip alone is going to make it more useful and transparent! .....Big fan of Waves RVOX for bringing things right up front. ( I usually add Logic optical compressor and Focusrite red compressor after that....and sometimes a 1176 on vocal buss). Also the LAVA tip is intriguing...thanks again
ОтветитьAnother trick with Soothe 2 is to bus all your non-lead tracks to a "backing" bus and slap a Soothe 2 on it, then sidechain the lead to that. It will duck all the primary frequencies of the lead very transparently.
Ответитьthe recently released xtressor may take arousors place, take a look if you can.
ОтветитьLook what Crypto brought to us.....lol
Ответитьthe last one was very nice
Ответитьman i also love the arouser! such a great tool, i even use it on my 2 buss in parallel
ОтветитьLava is indeed awesome. Recently picked up the Xtressor from Kiive Audio and am very impressed. It is great on everything that I put it on.
ОтветитьDavid, Did you update your GPU from the Zotac since the 990k/z390 build?
ОтветитьGreat video....I learned a lot about when, why, and how to use plugins on vocals.....Tube Tech really brought the warmth and smooth curve to the vocal.
ОтветитьI have the Nectar plug and haven't used it in a while -- I'll have to pull that one out again and play around. I really love the tone of the Arturia and the TubeTech plug looks amazing -- thanks again David!
Ответить👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьI fell in love with the Joe Chiccarelli Vocal Strip. The three parallel compressors do an amazing work in getting the vocal to the front but still keeping the natural dynamics intact.
ОтветитьSoftube is sick in ther softwere plugins, And hardwere to!
ОтветитьLove Nectar but if u have it on 2 tracks or more ur cpu goes fire and explode
ОтветитьEl Rey
ОтветитьThanks for the information and demos
ОтветитьKlanghelm mjuc, rvox, & mv2🤘
Ответитьgot to check that new xtressor not sure if it is closer but it sounds nice
ОтветитьI never use that Arturia but I need too. its also easy on cpu
ОтветитьStill listening. Love that smooth response of the Arouser. Damn fine compression on that performance. I‘ll be watching out for a deal there. My favorites are vanilla with two specials. Split eq and Physion 2 are the truly new ones for me so far. I use Fabfilter Pro C2 all day, but also gems like MJUC from Klanghelm. When they work, it‘s just great. I‘ve always been afraid of the CPU hit in Soothe 2. Need to check it out again. For creative fx, it is most often Valhalla Delay, Room, Space Modulator and Supermassive. Physion 2 is a tool I‘m starting to use, as is Fabfilters Timeless 3 and Vulcan. Both have tasty saturation and modulation.
I can recommend trying out the Harrison Ava Deesser. It‘s in the film mixing consoles for good reason. Very versatile.
Just picked up the PEC and CL1B. I couldn’t be happier 😊
ОтветитьBefore listing any plug-ins that straight up enhance vocal production, I have to mention iZotope RX, for the amount of borderline unusable recordings it saves. Nectar also frequently finds its way into my vocal chain, along with either the Purple Audio MC77 or Pulsar Audio 1178, going into another compressor or saturator.
For pitch shifting, modulation, and effects, Polyverse Manipulator is quite versatile (and fun to play with).
I can recommend Acustica Audio´s version of the Tubetech (Titanium). That EQ lives on my mix buss!
ОтветитьI use these plugins most of the time. Especially soothe 2 and arouser. I remember you saying zener limited curve bender is the king of mid range..so i used it on my lead vocal bus and i fell in love wit it and use every time.. The type of mid range it adds is so pleasing to ear. Im surprised u didn't mention it in this video. Btw have u ever used it for vocals or u just use it for mixbus processing ?
ОтветитьI love Softube Mike-E on Vocals and kick, but I see you need another distressor plugin so definitely try out the new KIIVE Audio Xtressor I think you will like that one as well! ;)
My next gem that I discovered very recently is definitely the Neold U17, you can gain so much level with that soft clipper and the compression is sweet as well as the distortion as it starts to break up, anything like what I heard on other compressors...
I find myself lately use the T-Racks Comprexxor which is a nice Distressor emulation!! It sounds great but some times I go back to the Arousor! You can do a whole mix with these two for compression!!
ОтветитьWaves Rvox, Waves C6, Softube tla 120,
Rultec Pultec emu, Waves Kramer Tape, Waves Rverb
Awesome video!!!!
ОтветитьFor vocals in no specific order I use Pro Q3, Nectar 3 Plus, Acustica Audio Ebony, Waves Greg Wells Vocals, Sooth 2, Valhalla Echo, Waves Clarity Vx, Pro Tools stock de-esser, Eventides SP 1600, Fabfilter Pro -R, and Baby Audio Crystaline, Slate Digital Fresh
ОтветитьHi David,Love your sharing of knowledge.Thank You !
Could you compering your SPL PQ with Plugin Alliance SPL PQ ?
I purchased the Tube-Tech CL1B hardware unit after having tried both the UAD and Softube versions. The plugins don't even come anywhere close to the tube magic (a very sweet, high end sheen) you get from the actual hardware. It is, in my opinion, the best vocal compressor for modern day recordings. You can't go wrong with getting one for yourself. I promise you, once you hear it in action with the perfect chain, there's no going back.
I run a Neumann U67 Re-issue, into a BAE 1073, into the CL1B for every single vocal I record. I don't know what else to call it but magic. Sorcery even. Highly recommend this chain, especially for female vocals.
Love the videos, I learn a lot from them. Thank you for all the gems you drop!
Lava!
